Nate McMillan deserves MAJOR props for a job well done this season! “Big Body Chevy”

On Friday night the Indiana Pacers jumped out of the Big Body Chevy and made a late 9-0 run to get past the LA Clippers 109-104. With that win they put themselves in a position to be one win away or a Detroit loss from clinchin’ a playoff spot. Playoffs bruh! You read that right!

Back in July everybody and their Uncle Junior wanted out of their season tickets when the Pacers traded four-time All-Star, Paul George, to OKC for Victor Oladipo and Domantas Sabonis. Boyz were jumpin’ out of the ride left and right or at least they were talkin’ a good game. I don’t know what the numbers were on season ticket cancellations but NOBODY was happy about it. For the suckas that got rid of them I bet they’re doin’ everything in their power to sweet talk a boy into gettin’ them back at the same price.

It looked bleak at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in trainin’ camp with like 9 new faces and no proven superstar. They were talkin’ at the time of buildin’ the team around Myles Turner. In my opinion, that logic was about to be a disaster. I gave them 25 games tops.

Victor Oladipo emerged as the team leader and superstar and now it’s Chris Brown up in this piece, “On and Poppin’!” It’s not even April and they’ve won 42 games!!! Are your kiddin’ me?

Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! Everybody’s givin’ Kevin Pritchard crazy love for puttin’ this singin’ group together and rightfully so. However, somebody’s gotta manage the group and get the best out of them. Nate McMillan isn’t gettin’ enough love for the job he’s done with a bunch of guys that if given to the wrong coach would have messed this thing all up.

Sure, Oladipo is ballin’ and everybody else is playin’ their roles but listen up playa, that didn’t happen by accident. Somebody had to put them in a position to get it done. You can’t begin to talk about what this team has accomplished without singin’ Nate’s praises. He’s done a helluva job of coachin’ this year in understandin’ how to put the rotations together. He understands who to play and not to play and when. It’s all a science and he’s been like Dr. Frankenstein in the lab but his monster has done everything he’s asked of it. Major props to the big homie Nate for puttin’ it down. I can’t wait until the playoffs start. Stop me when I start lyin’!

Playas Thesaurus:

1) Dun: noun – the person in question, dude, guy, etc. It’s whoever I’m talkin’ about and its non-gender specific.

2) Ole boy: noun – the person that I’m currently talkin’ about.

3) Big Body Chevy: noun – the 1985 to ’91 body style of the Chevy Impala

The G is excluded from the endings of all words because the G is near and dear to my heart because I’m from “The G” which is Gary, Indiana. So I only use the G when I’m talkin’ about “The G!”
