In November the NFL announced that Michael Vick would be one of four “Legends Captains” for the upcoming 2020 Pro Bowl. Now a petition is being circulated on Change.org and it’s been signed by more than a half million people wanting the league to remove him from the Pro Bowl. Really bruh?

Now keep in mind that the dun had already been convicted in 2007, served 18 months in prison and paid the fines. Once a man has paid his debt to society he should be allowed to live his life.

Well… apparently not in America. Not only did he do darn near two years in prison but he came out and played an additional 7 years in the NFL. Not to mention he’s a legitimate legend in the game. So there’s no reason why the NFL should remove him from being a captain for the Pro Bowl.

Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! These folks signing this petition have nothing else to do with their time. The man has already paid his debt and began working with the Humane Society of the United States in 2009 as an animal rights activist. He worked specifically with the organization’s End Dog Fighting campaign when he was released from prison.

What else do you want him to do? People make mistakes and none of these folks signing this petition have lived mistake free lives. What did Jesus say to the people who were ready to stone the woman for committing adultry? “Let he who is without sin cast the first stone.” I’m just sayin’!

Michael Vick has been a model citizen since his release and he’s currently working for FS1 as an analyst. Leave that man alone and find you some business. Stop me when I start lyin’!
