LaMelo Ball is worth all of the hype and some! He nearly drops a triple-double in win over big brother!

Everybody and their homeboys Keion and Baby Joe has been waiting to see the Ball brothers on the floor together since LaMelo was drafted 3rd overall in this past NBA Draft.

The Charlotte Hornets pulled up in New Orleans on Friday night as LaMelo Ball jumped out of the whip to play his older brother Lonzo for the first time in life in a real game. They are three years apart. So other than playing the 2-on-2 or 3-on-3 games in the backyard. They’ve never really got it in.

When the smoke cleared LaMelo walked out of the joint with a 118-110 win over his brother. Not before he nearly dropped a triple double on the Pelicans. He finished with 12 points, 10 rebounds and 9 assists. Had he thrown one more dime he would have become the youngest player in NBA history to record a triple double.

He’s only 19 years, 139 days old. Markelle Fultz dropped a triple double at 19 years, 319 days old to become the youngest to ever accomplish it.

What made the win so sweet was that Charlotte was in an 18 point hole getting throttled when this young thunder cat kept doing his thing. His ability to pass the ball is simply amazing.

With 3:44 left to play his assist to Gordon Hayward gave the Hornets a 4-point cushion to get out of the joint alive.

I gotta give crazy props to LeMelo. He’s worth all of the hype so far. The kid’s vision on the floor is nuts and his confidence as a 19 year old players is even more amazing. I’m looking forward to watching this kid play for years to come. Stop me when I start lyin’!
