Kellen Winslow Jr. avoids life in prison and takes a plea to serve a 12 to 18 year bid. “Wasted Talent”

In 1993 one of the best movies I’ve ever seen was released. It was called “A Bronx Tale” starring Robert De Niro and Lilo Brancato Jr. De Niro’s character Lorenzo Anello would tell his son “C” that the worst thing in the world was “Wasted talent.” For some reason that movie has stuck with me since. There’s nothing worse than wasted talent.

Well playas…Kellen Winslow Jr. played 10 years in the NFL after being drafted in the first round out of the University of Miami by the Cleveland Browns. He also played for Tampa Bay, New England and the New York Jets. The dun made over $40 million during his career and now he’s a convicted felon facing 12 to 18 years in prison. Wasted talent.

On Monday he took a plea deal pleading guilty to raping an unconscious teen back in 2003 and to sexual battery involving a 54-year-old hitchhiker that would keep him from spending the rest of his life in prison.

He took the plea before being re-tried on six felonies including kidnapping, sodomy, forced oral copulation and two charges of forcible rape in San Diego County Superior Court that could have sent his butt to prison for life if he was convicted.

Let’s keep it real or all the way 100 whichever comes 1st! All of that talent and he throws it in the toilet. Sure, his playing days were over but his name alone would have opened other doors for him to make easy money. He’s the son of Hall of Fame tight end Kellen Winslow, not to mention he’s got the same freakin’ name and he was famous for playing the same game.

The only reason his career ended after 10 years was because of a stupid motorcycle accident. He was a straight stud and now he’s about to sit in prison for the next decade or so. Wasted talent.

Do you know how easy it would have been for him to get a network job with the name Kellen Winslow Jr.? That’s Kellen Winslow Jr. without the foolishness attached to it that is. C’mon bruh!!!!

We see it all of the time. Duns that won’t simply follow the rules thinking that they’re bigger than the rules. They end up sitting in a prison cell regretting it all. Wasted talent. If a dun was going to end up in prison what was the point in putting in all of that work over the course of his life being the best at what he was doing, becoming an All-American, going to the U, winning a national championship, getting drafted into the NFL etc. to end up in a cell with Ray-Ray. He could have avoided all of that work and dropped out of school in the third grade and went to prison. I’m just saying. Wast of time and talent.

Playas Thesaurus:

1) Dun: noun – the person in question, dude, guy, etc. It’s whoever I’m talkin’ about and its non-gender specific.
