KANSAS CITY — After winning 10 out of their last 11 games boyz gave the Indianapolis Colts a shot to go into Kansas City and pull the upset. Well playas…all it took was Patrick Mahomes and Co. to walk out of the locker room and snap the freakin’ ball. Kansas, who was 7-1 at home all season sprinted through the Colts 31-13 to advance to the AFC Championship Game in which they’ll host for the first time in the 47 years of Arrowhead Stadium.

Before a boy could bite into his hot dog and belch the Chiefs were up 17-0. It was literally a blur for anybody in blue and white.

The Colts got off of the bus and went three and out on their first possession. Then Patrick Mahomes steps onto the field like a freakin’ gladiator and chews the Colts’ zone coverage up. They walked that joint right down the field in just five plays for 90 yards. Mahomes was 3 for 3 for 61 of those yards as Damien Williams pops it in on a 10 yard run to make it 7-0.

Andrew Luck and Co. take the field for their second possession and he can’t get a darn pass off. Luck had time to throw the football but all three were batted as they go three and out again.

Mahomes was out there throwing across his body making plays like it’s a video game. He was putting the ball in his receivers mouths but they just kept dropping them. On a 4th and 1 on the Colts 45 Damien Williams converts to keep the chains moving. Then Tyreek Hill explodes on a 36 yard reverse to get to the house.

The Colts found themselves down 14-0 after only 8 and a half minutes looking like Big Momma forgot to pack the peppermint in her purse at church. It was gonna be a long day. On their third possession they go three and out, AGAIN!!!

Mahomes and Co. were putting on a freakin’ clinic moving the ball and destroying the Colts defense in route to yet another touchdown. The Chiefs had no respect for the Indianapolis defense as they went for it again on 4th and 1 from the Colts 37 and converted. They weren’t looking to do anything but score touchdowns playa. At the end of the first quarter the Chiefs were in total control putting up 14 points and holding Luck and Co. to 12 total yards and zero first downs.

Kansas City finally settled for a Harrison Butker 39-yard field goal to go up 17-0 with 12:13 left in the half.

Patrick Mahomes was giving the Colts all types of problems not only throwing the football but at the pre-snap count by drawing them offsides. At the 8 minute mark the Colts had already piled up 5 penalties for 30 yards.

Indianapolis’ Najee Goode comes up with a huge blocked punt as Zach Pascal recovered it in the end zone to get on the board to make it 17-7. It was the first blocked punt for the Colts in five years. Even though they hadn’t gotten a first down they were only down 10 points.

Well…Kansas City’s offense was still in the building as they came back out walking that joint down the field. Mahomes scrambles and gets in from 4-yards out to make it 24-0 with a 1:40 left in the half.

Indianapolis was literally getting their sneakers and jewelry taken off of them. At the half the Chiefs had put up 274 total yards vs 91, 17 first downs to 4. The Colts didn’t pick up a first down until the 1:18 mark of the second quarter. Then they had the nerve to pick of three first downs to end the half by running a no-huddle offense.

To make matters worse Adam Vinatieri must have gone to dinner with Chicago’s Cody Parkey as he missed a walk off field goal to end the half. The shortest field goal miss in his career too.

KC comes out of the break and finally turns it over on downs as they go for it on 4th and 5 at the 8:32 mark of the third. Indy takes over on downs and still can’t do anything with it. Even after Darious Leonard strips a boy to get the Colts the rock in the red zone Luck is stripped two plays later to give it right back.

Luck finally finds T.Y. Hilton on a 29-yard touchdown pass to make it 24-13 with 5:31 left. Then Adam Vinatieri misses the extra point, Keep in mind that he missed the shortest field goal that he’s ever missed and then he misses a darn extra point.

However, Indianapolis still has no answer for the juggernaut of an offense led by Patrick Mahomes. Damien Williams scores from 6 yards out to make it 31-13 to take all of the life out of the Colts to send them to the crib for the offseason. Up next for Indy OTA’s. Up next for KC the AFC Championship Game at the home next week.
