Cowboys looking to extend Jason Garrett for winning 2 playoff games since 2010! “Fairness in the NFL?”

Last week we saw 8 NFL coaches get fired and 5 of them were black. One in particular was Arizona’s Steve Wilks, who was fired after only one season. Now everybody knows that it’s impossible to turn a limousine around in the middle of traffic on a flat tire but that’s what was expected of Wilks by the Cardinals.

They fired ole boy and brought in Kliff Kingsbury, a dun that was 5-7 at Texas Tech and when folks started screaming foul balls and racism in hiring practices in the NFL people started looking at that those complaining like they were crazy.

Well if that isn’t crazy enough check out what the Dallas Cowboys are talking about doing. Last week rumors started surfacing that ole Jerry Jones and Co. are looking to give Jason Garrett a long term contract extension when he hasn’t been worth two dead flies smashed in Dallas.

They lost yet again in the playoffs on Saturday to the Rams after literally getting ran over for 273 yards!! They allowed Todd Gurley and C.J. Anderson to truck them by putting up 115 and 123 yards respectively in a 30-22 loss pushing Garrett’s overall playoff record to 2-3. However, that record deserves a long-term extension?

Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! Jason Garrett took over as the interim head coach for the Cowboys in 2010 after Wade Phillips got ran out of town. He finished that season 6-10 and third in the NFC East. Then he put up three straight 8-8 seasons before having a 12-4 season in 2014 only to lose in the divisional round of the playoffs that year. The following year they went 4-12 before winning the division in 2016. In 2017 they were rolling with Zeke and Dak but loss in the Divisional round of the playoffs again!!!

However, he’s still working. Not only that, they’re looking to extend him and he’s only won two playoff games in his freaking career. Steve Wilks get’s fired after only one year and Jason Garrett is getting extensions for falling on his face in the playoffs and more often than not barely winning. But you’re telling me that unfair hiring practices don’t exist in the NFL?

There are two black coaches in the National Football League while 75 percent of the players are black and you don’t see a problem with that? You can watch Jason Garrett keep his job and be cool with guys like Steve Wilks getting fired after only year and see Kliff Kingsbury taking over when he couldn’t even win in college? None of that makes sense if we’re having a real conservation about treating people fairly. The expectations have to be the same for everyone involved otherwise it’s foolishness. Stop me when I start lyin’!
