L.E.O.!!! Love Each Other!!! That’s the battle cry for the Indiana Hoosiers this season and everybody’s bought in. Coach Tom Allen has everybody in the building believing in themselves and each other and that’s why they’re 6-1 in the Big Ten ranked No.12 in the country. Absolutely Incredible!!!
We’re not talking about a football school. We’re talking about Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. That IU.
After already beating Penn State, Michigan, Michigan State and pushing No.4 Ohio State to the brink at the Horseshoe. They rolled up to Madison on Saturday and beat No.16 Wisconsin in Camp Randle 14-6.
After the game Tom Allen was trying his best to do a post-game interview with ESPN’s Holly Rowe and his players kept bum rushing the interview telling him just how much they loved him.
Some of them spoke into the camera on their way to the locker room telling recruits to come play for this man. Talk about a major endorsement at the right time. Who wouldn’t want to play for Tom Allen at this point? He’s fire and ice all at the same time.
He’s instilled the values of winning, working and love into a program that hasn’t had that in a long time. If it did, it hadn’t came out of the locker room on Saturday afternoons like it’s doing right now.
Indiana is setting itself up to play in a New Year’s Six bowl game at this point. The powers that be believed in Allen and dropped off a truck load of money last year and he hasn’t let them down.
It was unheard of to pay a football coach at Indiana darn near $4 million per year. The administration dove in head first with him and now look at the results. In order to win you’ve got to spend the money and get the best coaches. IU has one of them right now and they are rolling!! Stop me when I start lyin’!
