Hoosiers out the gate to a quick 3-0 start! Half way to bowl eligibility! “Work”

BLOOMINGTON, IN. — The Indiana Hoosiers are off to the races as they get out of the gate 3-0 to start the 2018 season. Keep in mind that they only need to win 6 games to become bowl eligible. After Saturday’s blowout of Ball State 38-10 the Hoosiers are strutting around like some peacocks headin’ into Big Ten play next week when Michigan State rings the doorbell at Memorial Stadium.

The way Ball State played up in South Bend last week I thought that they would show up in Bloomington and move some furniture around. However, they came in and got tossed around as IU looked even more impressive.

The Hoosiers are makin’ good use your their youth with starting quarterback Peyton Ramsey, a sophomore, and running back Stevie Scott the true freshmen. I will say this, they’ve got a secret weapon in true freshman, Reese Taylor, but they aren’t usin’ him as much as they should. The dun had 2 rushin’ attempts for -4 yards and 3 receptions from 21 yards.

Sure, they’re winnin’ and they’re half way to becomin’ bowl eligible but that offense could be much more potent if they’d incorporate Reese Taylor, Mr. Football from the state of Indiana in 2017, more into the offense.

They’re already runnin’ the zone read offense to some degree but they’ve got the wrong dun runnin’ it! When they get into Big Ten play it will make a huge difference. Taylor is electrifyin’ with the ball in his hands and he needs it in his hands on every snap so that defenses can’t settle down.

Ramsey finished the day 20 of 27 from 173 yards hittin’ 10 different receivers. Stevie Scott had 18 carries for 114 yards.

Tom Allen’s got to be happy with what his Hoosiers have been able to do gettin’ out of the gate beatin’ Florida International, Virginia and now Ball State before startin’ the Big Ten schedule next week. However, let’s not get too excited until they get to 6 games around this piece. Stop me when I start lyin’!

Playas Thesaurus:

 1) Dun: noun – the person in question, dude, guy, etc. It’s whoever I’m talkin’ about and its non-gender specific.

2) Ole boy: noun – the person that I’m currently talkin’ about.

The G is excluded from the endings of all words because the G is near and dear to my heart because I’m from “The G” which is Gary, Indiana. So I only use the G when I’m talkin’ about “The G!”
