Dude…I’m just been sitting in the cut watching and listening to DeSean Jackson and Stephen Jackson sound crazy. There’s an old colloquialism that says, “If you find yourself in a hole stop digging.” Both of these cats have been digging for the past several days and it’s only getting worse.
In case you’ve been under a rock or have chosen not to listen to this foolishness. Let me bring you up to speed. For some God awful reason DeSean Jackson thought that it made sense over the Holiday weekend to post some Anti-Semitic foolishness that he attributed to Adolf Hitler. However, Hitler never even said it.
Here’s what he posted, “the white Jews knows that the Negroes are the real Children of Israel,” that they “will extort America” and that “their plan for world domination won’t work if the Negroes know who they were.”
Then Stephen Jackson, who has been on the front lines speaking out against the racial and social injustice after the killing of his dear friend George Floyd, jumps out of the birthday cake butt naked foamin’ at the mouth defending DeSean. Now both of them are apologizing.
In a world where NOBODY but idiots want racism. Why would these cats think that quoting or paraphrasing Adolf Hitler or anything remotely close to being racist makes any no sense? As black folks we definitely understand what being the targets of racism looks like. So why add to foolishness when it stupid?
There’s already of powder keg waiting to explode in America because of all of the racial tension that’s being fueled by a lack of leadership, continued police brutality, racial and social injustice. The last thing we all need is someone attacking another group of people. It’s ridiculous.
All of the work Stephen Jackson has done over the last month or so in regards to being an active leader in police and social reform goes out of the window because he decided to jump in the car with an cat driving drunk in the wrong direction blind folded. C’mon bruh!!!
If we want to be respected as a race and culture we have to be willing to respect other races and cultures. Making those types of comments is no better than the idiot riding around with a Confederate flag hanging off of his truck and calling us the N-word saying that we’re undeserving of being treated fairly.
Black folks don’t want revenge. We just want equal rights under the law. Saying idiot things like DeSean Jackson said gets in the way of progress and it can’t be defended. Stop me when I start lyin’!
