By now you’ve all heard about the beef going on between Shaq and Damien Lillard. Dame dissed Shaq telling the world that he was a better rapper and he said that ole boy was just Shaq rapping not Shaq being a real rapper.
Well…the Big Aristotle fired back last week and then Dame tried to answer with a bunch of nonsense that made no sense. How can you attack a boy who is a Platinum selling artist with multiple Gold singles and crazy features with legends such as Biggie on his discography and you haven’t sold a darn record?
There’s a huge difference between selling a million copies verses giving music away for free. Free streams don’t count playa. You don’t get credit for giving music away. That’s something these young cats don’t get. They think that because they drop a mixtape and people listen to it that they are a legitimate artist. When I was coming up that was called letting people listen to your demo. You weren’t real until you sold it.
Well playas…you already knew that Shaq wasn’t going to let that wack come back ride right? It was wack because he was coming at Shaq about not winning the four titles that he won when Dame hasn’t even been to the Finals yet. You can’t come at a boy about something you haven’t even remotely accomplished. Not to mention the wack verses about Shaq’s statue and MVP. He sounded stupid. Sure, he can rap but he’s done nothing in either field and Shaq is a legend even in the rap game because he’s the only real hooper to go platinum.
So Shaq hit him with “Second Round Knockout (Dame D.O.L.L.A. Diss) over the weekend. If Dame is smart he’ll say Uncle and let it go beause Shaq’s mic is always going to be louder. He’s got way more time on his hands than Dame and he’s got a television show that comes on TNT ALL season. He can rip Dame every night for the next 9 months if he wants to and TNT will let him. Dame doesn’t want that. Quit while you’ve still got your dignity bruh! Stop me when I start lyin’!
