Dabo Swinney would be a sucker if he allowed Kelly Bryant to come back! “Self vs. Team”

Clemson pulled the rabbit out of their hat after starting quarterback Trevor Lawrence went down with concussion-like symptoms on Saturday. He played less than two quarters when he took a bad shot trying to get out of bounds.  He was named the starter and Kelly Bryant, the kid who’s job he took, announced on Tuesday that he was leaving the program.

So without Bryant the Tigers were down to their third team quarterback, Chase Brice. Well…ole boy came in and did just enough work to dig the Tigers out of a 16-7 hole to beat Syracuse 27-23. During the post-game fallout of silly conversations between TV and radio hosts boyz were suggesting that Kelly Bryant should be able to come back. He’s still on campus taking classes so why not?

Well let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! It’s an easy fix to allow the dun to just walk back out on the field and pick up where he left off. Yeah…he knows the offense, he’s got the experience and they desperately need him. You can treat it as if he was out sick or hurt or whatever blows your mind.

However, how fair is that to the kids that stayed in the program? It would definitely be a slap in the face of Chase Brice that did everything that’s been asked of him and waiting his turn being a team player. When it was time for him to step up and lead the team he did. They were down 16-7 when they kicked him out of a moving vehicle at 75 mph. He hit the ground rolling and survived.

Kelly Bryant quit on his team because it was all about him and not the team. So therefore, they don’t need him. Dabo Swinney would be a straight sucka if he allowed Kelly Bryant to come back to the team at this point. He’s got to make a point that you can’t choose self over the team and now decide that now team makes sense now that you don’t have to compete for the job.

Naw playa, Clemson needs to move on and win or lose with the duns in the ride. That’s real talk and stop me when I start lyin’!
