Colts pull a Bears move in trading for Carson Wentz! Makes ABSOLUTELY no sense! “Now and Laters”

The Indianapolis Colts pulled a Chicago Bears move on Thursday. They were just doing something to just to be doing something. They gave up a 2021 3rd round pick and a 2022 2rd round conditional pick to the Eagles for Carson Wentz.

Sure, it sounds good on the surface because the dun is probably worth a second or third round pick. However, he walks in with a contract that could choke a horse and he’s not worth the ink that’s written on the contract.

Ole boy signed a four-year deal worth $128 million in June of 2019 after he completed 63.9% of his passes for 4,039 yards with 27 touchdowns, 7 interceptions and a 93.1 passer rating all with a injury plagued offense.

However, last season he  completed a career-worst 57.4% of his passes for 2,620 yards with 16 touchdowns. He lead the NFL with 15 interceptions and had a career-low 72.8 passer rating. He also led the league with 50 sacks.

So even though the Colts only gave up a second and third rounder for him they’ve still got to pay him a king’s ransom and he’s not worth two dead flies smashed at this point.

Sure, he’s only going to hit the Colts salary cap for $25.4 million this year. That’s about what they were paying Rivers last year and now they don’t have to pay Jacoby Brissett the $20 million they paid him last year. So they’re spending less bread on the quarterback position on this year’s books.

However, Carson Wentz isn’t worth the $25.4 million that they think is a bargain. He’s terrible!!!! Why pay him that type of bread when we all know he’s not worth it. They’ve still got to pay him a roster bonus of an additional $15 million next month that will count on the 2022 salary according to Sports Illustrated.

Miss me with the semantics though. He’s still going to pocket $40 million this year and he’s not worth it. Don’t urinate on my leg and tell me that it’s raining. He’s proven to us that he’s not worth that type of bread because the numbers don’t lie. AND HE GOT BENCHED on his last team.

Why on earth would you put $40 million into a guy’s hands that got traded for a pack of Now and Laters and a some frosted penny cookies? Stop me when I start lyin’!
