The 2020 season was abbreviated and played without fans due to COVID. Now it’s about to be like Chris Brown up in this piece, “On and Poppin’!”
Everybody’s geared up and ready to go and no one more geared up than Jackson State!!! THEEILOVE arrived in Miami on Wednesday to prepare for the Orange Blossom Classic on Sunday where they’ll face the Florida A&M Rattlers on Sunday.
Let’s put the game and predictions to the side for a moment and focus on how Coach Prime has literally thrown JSU into the spotlight in less than nine months of taking over the program. Forget that he went 4-3 during the spring.
Let’s focus on the fact that he’s got Jackson State on everyone’s mind because he’s doing things in Jackson like he’s always done them. BIG TIME!!!
The Tigers landed in Miami with full JSU suits on looking like a BIG TIME program. Like Prime Time always said, “If you look good! You play good! If you play good! You get paid good!”
Well, JSU is definitely looking good on all fronts. The program is day and night from what it was before he took over.
They’ve been on national television more in the last year than they’ve ever been. That’s BIG TIME! They’re more relevant now than they’ve ever been. That’s BIG TIME! They’ve got more interest from big time recruits than they’ve ever had! That’s BIG TIME! That’ll pay huge dividends for years to come. That’s BIG TIME! They’ve got new facilities being built on campus now. That’s BIG TIME! The football program is making more money for the university than ever before. That’s BIG TIME!
Prime Time has shined the light on HBCU football in general over the past nine months and it’s about to get even brighter. THAT’S BIG TIME!!! So welcome to the 2021 college football season! Regardless of the outcome on Sunday, JSU is bringing the heat and relevance to Jackson State University. At the end of the day it’s about generating revenue and interest for the JSU Tigers.
