Tell Reggie Bush to keep Coach Prime’s name out of his mouth! “We Believe in the Vision and Purpose”

Will somebody tell Reggie Bush to stop meddling in grown folks business? On Saturday on the Fox Pre-Game Show in Norman, he was asked who USC should go after as their next head coach. Without hesitation he regurgitated Deion Sanders out of his mouth. Well…that’s Coach Prime if you’re nasty!

Tell him to slow his role and get out of JSU’s and black folk’s business. Coach Prime is fulfilling his purpose in Jackson. This isn’t the usual, the “let me get in and out for the right price” scenario here. He’s literally changing the culture and expectation of HBCU football for future generations.

He’s giving the entire brand a facelift from the hack job that came with predominantly white institutions (PWI’s) robbing them of their natural recourses in the late 60’s and early 70’s for all of their talent. Before then they didn’t want our players because the hate in this country told them that it made sense not to accept black players. “I Believe” isn’t just a moniker it’s become a lifestyle at JSU.

The Tigers literally went on the road to Louisiana Monroe, an FBS opponent, and played their hearts out only giving up 12 points! On some real talk, they didn’t give up a single touchdown only losing by 5 points, 12-7, after turning over the ball four times.

Let me break down how this thing is supposed to work. An FBS program pays the lower division, FCS program, several hundred thousand dollars to beat the breaks off of them to get ready for their conference play. Well…JSU got more out of this loss than ULM got out of the win.

JSU realized just how good they can be if they simply clean up the turnovers. The defense couldn’t have played any better than they did. It’s been lights out for three straight weeks on the defensive side of the ball for Coach Prime’s team.

Not only did Jackson State pick up the bag by playing them but they also picked up way more confidence than the rest of the SWAC needed them to have as they start conference play in two weeks. Yeah playa…JSU is about to be everybody else’s problem on their schedule.

So as Coach Prime continues to change the narrative at JSU and about the potential of HBCU football going forward. Tell Reggie Bush and other media cats like him to stay out of serious business. Like I stated before, there was a time when all of these talented black kids couldn’t play at the PWI’s because they simply didn’t want black people there.

Therefore, all of the best black players in America were forced to play at the HBCU’s. Once the PWI’s figured out they they could win with black players and make a fortune off of them they were allowed to play there.

At that point the HBCU’s suffered a great loss in their natural recourses. It’s taken the sacrifice of Coach Prime to shine the light on how powerful believing in a vision can change the narrative. We all should be cheering for JSU to win every week because if they win all HBCU’s win and the money starts to flow into the schools.

The money doesn’t just fund the football program. It’s funds everything on campus. You want better dorms? You want better facilities not just for student-athletes but for students too? You want more buildings and bigger research budgets? Start winning football games and playing on tv every week. I dare you to show up at JSU in another year or two. You won’t even recognize the place. Keep Coach Prime’s name out of your mouth.

Reggie Bush should be pulling for him to win at JSU and not puling for him to go to USC. The same USC that turned their backs on him when he had to give his Heisman Trophy back for securing his own bread while in college. That rule isn’t even a rule today.

He’s the last person that should be wishing Coach Prime should leave JSU for a big school. Stop me when I start lyin’!
