Bucks erase a 16-point first quarter deficit to go up 3-2! For the first time in 50 years they’re “On The Brink”

The Milwaukee Bucks went to the Valley and took care of business on Saturday night winning Game 5 123-119 in a thriller. Now they’re one game away from winning their first NBA title in 50 years.

The Phoenix Suns jumped out of the birthday cake butt naked foamin’ at the mouth as they went up 16 points in the first quarter. It looked as though they would run the Bucks out of the gym with no problem.

However, Giannis and Co. didn’t lose their composure after being down double digits after one. They answered the bell with a monster second quarter putting up 43 points to silence the crowd in the Valley. They outscored the Suns 43-24 to get to the break with a 64-61 advantage.

They didn’t stop there though. They came out of the break and outscored the Suns in the third quarter 37-24 to completely overwhelm the Suns in front of Big Momma, cousin Man-Man and the rest of the homies.

Giannis Antetokounmpo did is usual thing as he put up 32 points, 9 rebounds and added 6 assists. However, he got help from Kris Middleton and Jrue Holiday that completely broke the Suns’ back.

Middleton finished with 29 points and Holiday dropped off 27 points and 13 assists. With everybody cooking there wasn’t much the Suns could do.

Devin Booker led the Suns with 40 points on 17-33 shooting but it wasn’t enough to get out of the joint alive. Chris Paul only managed 21 points and Deandre Ayton added 20 points.

There was just too much fire power coming from Milwaukee and Jrue Holiday lit it up on both ends of the floor down to the very end on the game. His steal as Booker drove to the rack was epic down the stretch. Not only did he get the steal but he found Giannis on the alley-oop dunk to pretty much seal the deal.

“Obviously we know what the deal is. It’s one game away from being the NBA champ,” said Giannis in his post-game interview. The Bucks are now on the brink of a title and they’re going back home to try to get it done.
