Two games into the NBA Playoffs and OKC is who we thought they were! “Dust Settling”

Really dawg? That's all y'all got? Photo: AP Photo/Craig Mitchelldyer

We’re two games into the NBA Playoffs and the ground is starting to settle for better or for worse for some cats. Out West it’s been crazy with Golden State blowing a 31 point lead on Monday night against the Clippers and essentially losing Boogie Cousins for the remainder of the playoffs. However, they probably won’t lose another game in the playoffs until they get to the West Conference Finals.

Toronto finally realized that the playoffs were here and beat the brakes off of Orlando 111-82  like they should have done in Game 1. Denver woke up and decided they had “something to live for” like the lil’ homies Kris Kross as they beat San Antonio 114-105 to even the series at 1-1.

Then there’s ole dull OKC!!! Portland is putting that thang on them as they’ve got them down 2-0 to start this thing off. On Tuesday night the Trailblazers beat the doors, windows, transmission and back seats off of them 114-94. Look here playa, averaging a triple double for the season means absolutely nothing if you can’t get out of the first round with it.

Young Russ finished Game 2 with 14 points, 11 assists and 9 rebounds while Paul George 27 points and 8 rebounds but it still wasn’t enough because nobody else got off of the darn bus. There wasn’t another player on the Thunder in double figures and both Damian Lillard and CJ McCullom shot the lights out of the gym on them putting up 29 and 33 points respectively. In my Bernie Mac voice, T-R-O-U-B-L-E, T-R-O-U-B-L-E!!!

At least Philly bounced back from a devastating Game 1 loss to the dull Nets to win Game 2 on Monday night 145-123. I believe they’ve got the message that this thing is real and it’s time to stop playing around.

Boston and Indiana don’t go at it again until tonight and if the Pacers don’t wake up and smell the toe jam they’ll be in T-R-O-U-B-L-E too. Nobody’s even interested in the Bucks/Pistons series in which Milwaukee is up 1-0. They’ll completely sprint through them in 4 games and rest.

Yeah playas, it’s the NBA Playoffs so let’s ride!!! Stop me when I start lyin’!
