Why Victor Oladipo needs to stop tellin’ boyz it’s his city and prove it! “Put Up”

It’s Game 6 and the Pacers are back at the crib down 3-2 to the Cavs. It’s win or literally go home tonight and everybody and their baby’s momma will be lookin’ to see if Victor Oladipo will put up or shut up. Seein’ that he’s been tellin’ boyz all season long that “This is my City” and that’s the edited version, Boyz are lookin’ for some results.

Throughout the regular season the dun was tellin’ boyz after a big shot etc. that he’s their guy!!! In Game 1 he went to work on the Cavs puttin’ up 32 points and puttin’ them on notice that he’s somethin’ to be reckoned with.

Everyone around here was fired up and it looked like he would continue what he started in the regular season in the playoffs. In Game 2 he put up 22 and seemed to be able to hold his own. Then the Cavs got a hold of the film and they’ve been trappin’ that dun and double teamin’ him to death. They held him to 18, 17 and 12 points respectively the next three ball games. It was so bad in Game 5 that he went 2-15 from the field and 1-7 from behind the arc.

Yeah, I get that they’re playin’ hella defense on him right now but he’s the guy, right? You gotta show up in the playoffs, especially when you’ve been hollerin’ “This is my City” all season.

If it’s yours then you gotta get out of the ride swingin’ on boyz to protect it. I’m not sayin’ that he’s gotta win the darn game tonight by himself but I am sayin’ that he’s gotta go down swingin’ if they do lose.

You can’t walk outta the joint goin’ 2-15 from the field and 1-7 from three point range. Naw playa, not tonight!!! If it’s your city then you need to at least try to take the key back from a boy. Stop me when I start lyin’!

Playas Thesaurus:

1) Dun: noun – the person in question, dude, guy, etc. It’s whoever I’m talkin’ about and its non-gender specific.

2) Ole boy: noun – the person that I’m currently talkin’ about.

The G is excluded from the endings of all words because the G is near and dear to my heart because I’m from “The G” which is Gary, Indiana. So I only use the G when I’m talkin’ about “The G!”
