Why this whole Michael Bennett situation reeks of lies! “Accordin’ to the Police”

On Monday Eagles defensive end Michael Bennett appeared in a Harris County court in Houston on a felony charge of injury to the elderly related to some alleged foolishness that took place at NRG Stadium after Super Bowl LI. Accordin’ to the indictment ole boy supposedly pushed his way onto the field after New England won the Super Bowl without permission. He was tryin’ to celebrate with his brother, Martellus, who was a member of the Patriots at the time.

Accordin’ to the police Bennett pushed a 66 year old paraplegic down causin’ her to sprain her shoulder.

So on Friday the Houston police chief held a press conference and literally said that we have no video footage of the incident but a police officer witnessed the whole thing and that it was evidence enough. WHAT!!!?

Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! Since when did we start believin’ what the police have to say about what a black man or woman is doin’ in the presence of law enforcement in America? Accordin’ to the police Sandra Bland killed herself in police custody in Houston. Accordin’ to the police Michael Brown was tryin’ to take the officers gun in Ferguson. Accordin’ to police Tamir Rice threatened the lives of two police officers even before they pulled up on him with a toy gun in Cleveland. Accordin’ to the police Philando Castile was pullin’ a gun on a cop instead of reachin’ for his wallet in Minneapolis. Accordin’ to police it made sense to shoot Walter Scott in the back as he ran AWAY from police in South Carolina. Accordin’ to police Eric Garner was a threat to police while he was bein’ choked to death for sellin’ loose cigarettes in New York. I could go on but why?

So now all of a sudden we’re supposed to believe what some cop says about an incident that occurred 14 months ago? I’m not sayin’ that Michael Bennett didn’t do what is alleged because I wasn’t there. However, if you’re goin’ to charge this man with a full out felony that carries a maximum sentence of up to 10 years in prison you better have some video evidence of the crime and more than a cops word. Miss me with that bruh. If it was so serious that the crime warranted a felony charge then why did it take 14 months to show up? I’m listenin’!

And please don’t get fooled by the fact that they indicted him on the charge. The indictment process is one sided. All you need for an indictment is the a group of hand picked people by the DA’s office to form a Grand Jury. The Prosecutor’s office presents their evidence and the Grand Jury either says “True Bill” which is yes there is enough evidence to proceed to trial or “No Bill” which is there isn’t enough evidence to go to trial.

Well who determines what is enough evidence bruh? The freakin’ guys comin’ up with all of this foolishness. That’s why most, if not all of the time, police officers are gettin’ away with killin’ unarmed black men in America. Why? Because they are deemed as unimportant to society. That’s why it was so easy to indict and charge Michael Bennett for a crime that there is supposedly no video evidence of.

Remember people, this was at the Super Bowl!! The biggest sportin’ event in these United States of America and you’re tellin’ me that there was NO video of this man pushin’ a 66 year paraplegic down to get onto the field? Is that what you’re tryin’ to tell me?

And why on earth is a 66 year old paraplegic doin’ security at the biggest sportin’ even in the country tryin’ to keep people off of the field? None of that even makes sense.

I will say that Racism is alive and well in America and anybody that wants to act like it isn’t is delusional. Stop me when I start lyin’!

1) Ole boy: noun – the person that I’m currently talkin’ about.

The G is excluded from the endings of all words because the G is near and dear to my heart because I’m from “The G” which is Gary, Indiana. So I only use the G when I’m talkin’ about “The G!”
