Why Nike has the NFL backed into a corner like Tupac! “JUICE”

"Well playa...how you wanna do this?"

POWERMOVE, USA — Phil Knight and the Boyz at Nike pulled the ultimate power move on Monday when they announced that Colin Kaepernick would be one of the faces of their 30th Anniversary campaign. Not only did they pick a side but they pushed the dull NFL into a corner and has them on their tippy toes by the collar. It’s JUICE all over again bruh.

What most boyz didn’t realize was that Nike signed an 8-year extension with the NFL back in March. Their current deal was set to expire in 2020 and the new deal will kick in and last until 2028. That means that the NFL can’t do jack squat about Nike’s relationship with Kaepernick and now they’ve gotta say something meaningful and positive about the foolishness they created by blackballin’ him from the league.

So as the NFL goes into scramble mode to figure out their next move. Jocelyn Moore, the NFL’s executive vice president of communications and public affairs said in a statement, “We embrace the role and responsibility of everyone involved with this game to promote meaningful, positive change in our communities. The social justice issues that Colin and other professional athletes have raised deserve our attention and action.”

Yeah playa, now they do!!! Now that Nike’s bum rushed the party and picked a side they’ve got to say something worthwhile even if they don’t mean it. Now that the dun that outfits you is tellin’ you what they approve of and what they don’t. Now that you’ve got no choice but to deal with the issues at hand.

Nike’s got these boyz backed into a corner scared right now.

Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! Nike has made a livin’ with black athletes since the sports apparel marketin’ game exploded in 1986 with their Jordan Brand. Mike has always been too afraid to pick a side on any issue but now their most popular athletes like LeBron and Serena will speak out in a heartbeat. They both have publicly supported Kaepernick since day one of his protest and their brands haven’t suffered.

It’s a new day for the old farts that don’t want to live in a progressive America where ALL people are created equal and should be treated as such. When the largest shoe apparel company in the world chooses to ride with the cat that has been blackballed from the NFL for standin’ up against police brutality, social and racial injustice we’ve officially turned the corner on foolishness bein’ swept under the rug. That’s the ultimate power move playa.

They’re puttin’ uniforms on the league that alienated the face of their “Just Do It” 30th Anniversary campaign. What message are they sendin’ the NFL? Well playas…they’re tellin’ them they’ve got more JUICE and that’s why the league is held up in a corner on their tippy toes puttin’ out statements that they really don’t believe in. Stop me when I start lyin’!

Playas Thesaurus:

1) Dun: noun – the person in question, dude, guy, etc. It’s whoever I’m talkin’ about and its non-gender specific.

2) Ole boy: noun – the person that I’m currently talkin’ about.

The G is excluded from the endings of all words because the G is near and dear to my heart because I’m from “The G” which is Gary, Indiana. So I only use the G when I’m talkin’ about “The G!”
