On Friday the NFL announced in a statement that Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Tyreek Hill would not be suspended and was allowed to rejoin the team at training camp. The statement read as follows, “Based on the evidence presently available, the NFL cannot conclude that Mr. Hill violated the Personal Conduct Policy. Accordingly, he may attend Kansas City’s training camp and participate in all club activities. He has been and will continue to be subject to conditions set forth by the District Court, Commissioner [Roger] Goodell, and the Chiefs, which include clinical evaluation and therapeutic intervention.”

Hill had been suspended from all team activities after Kansas City station 610 KCSP aired the full argument between he and his ex-fiancee’, Crystal Espinal, in which ole boy denied committing assault and battery against her. He pleaded guilty of that very charge in August of 2015.

As the recording continues to play, ole girl accuses Hill of abusing their 3 year old child, who had suffered a broken arm. The kid’s injury led to a police investigation into possible child abuse but ole boy was never charged because of lack of evidence. The District Attorney’s office announced back in April that they weren’t going to charge Hill with a crime because they couldn’t determine how the child was injured.

The NFL spent 8 hours talking to him trying to determine if he did, in fact, commit a crime after the police had already investigated the incident and the DA’s office had decided not to move forward.

Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! I’ve been saying for years that Roger Goodell and the darn NFL needs to get out of the morality business and stick to football. If the District Attorney’s office had already investigated this foolishness and found no evidence to charge him with a crime. Then what is the NFL doing?

It was a complete waste of time and energy!!! I’m not saying that Hill didn’t abuse his kid but you can’t prove it in this case. All you have is a woman recording a boy during an argument talking like a darn fool. I heard a guest on the Dan LeBatard Show on ESPN on Friday morning talking out of the side of her neck. She was saying that if they couldn’t suspend him because of the lack of evidence for child abuse. Then they should suspend him for threatening his then girlfriend. WHAT!!!?

During the taped argument the woman said that the child was afraid of Hill and he responded by saying “You should be afraid of me too B-word.” You can’t suspend him for having an argument and saying something ignorant to his girl. That doesn’t make sense!!!

Is he an idiot? Yes!! Should he be suspended for being an idiot? No!!! Until the police charge him with a crime he should be able to make a living. This isn’t about whether you like the guy or whether he’s smart or not. It’s about whether he’s done something that violates the law or not.

Back in the day the NFL was in the football business only and it worked just fine. They should get back into that business in 2019. Stop me when I start lyin’!

1) Dun: noun – the person in question, dude, guy, etc. It’s whoever I’m talkin’ about and its non-gender specific.

2) Ole Girl: the woman that I’m currently talking about in the article.
