Trump disses Kyler Murray by congratulating Nick Bosa instead! “The Obvious”

Steven Biko, the South African anti-apartied activist, once said, “Tradition has it that whenever a group of people has tasted the lovely fruits of wealth, security, and prestige, it begins to find it more comfortable to believe in the obvious lie and accept that it alone is entitled to privilege.” E.T. Bell, the mathematician and science fiction writer, broke it down like this, “‘Obvious’ is the most dangerous word in mathematics.” Then Edward R. Murrow, the broadcast journalist and war correspondent, shut the building down when he spit, “The obscure we see eventually. The completely obvious, it seems, takes longer.”

It only takes longer when people are in denial of the foolishness that exists in the world. Whenever you suggest that someone is racist even though there is an abundance of evidence to prove the case people still refuse to see the obvious.

On Friday morning after the first round of the NFL Draft had taken place on Thursday night our President Mr. Donald J. Trump tweeted out, not to the No.1 overall pick in the draft Kyler Murray, who happens to be black, but instead tweeted his congratulations to the No.2 pick Nick Bosa who happens to be white.

Well most people in denial of this effort to diss the black kid will try to get you believe that it’s not that obvious. That’s like peeing on my leg and telling me that it’s raining. This tweet was full of code ending with the “MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN” slogan.

Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! Isn’t Bosa the same guy that tweets out racist foolishness that others that feel the same way he does can relate? He’s been publicly blasted for his activity on Tweeter and those tweets have seen been deleted. Ole boy described Black Panther as the “worst Marvel movie.” Really bruh? There isn’t a person breathing that would agree with you on that? The question is, why was it the worst? Because 99.999 percent of the people in the movie didn’t look like you? Then he literally said that Beyonce’s music was “trash.” That’s like saying that Paul McCartney, Michael Jackson or Prince’s music was trash.  I don’t care what kind of music you prefer some cats cross all boundaries and Beyonce’s one of them. Some things are just plain obvious.

Then ole boy called Colin Kaepernick a “clown.” Why would someone that is speaking out against police brutality, racial and social injustice be considered a clown? They’re only a clown if you disagree that they have the fundemental right to do so. Bosa has also been blasted for “liking” many Instagram posts with racist and homophobic slurs. Did I say obvious more than once in this joint?

So why would the President of the United States of America go out of his way to congratulate this type of guy when he wasn’t the No.1 overall pick? We’re dealing in the obvious this morning but folks continue to believe that racism in American doesn’t exist and that racists live on a planet in a galaxy far far away.

Until we start to call out the obvious in America we’ll continue to see foolishness like this on a daily basis. It’s unfortunate but it’s a reality. Stop me when I start lyin’!
