Top NFL Prospect, Ed Oliver, tries to fight his head coach because he got checked! “These Young Cats”

HOUSTON — Just before halftime Houston head coach Major Applewhite walked up his All-American defensive lineman, Ed Oliver, who has missed four straight games due to a knee injury and pulled his coat off of his shoulder. Oliver had put on one of the heavy coats on the sideline that are specifically reserved for active players only. Applewhite checked him for having it on.

As they were walking to the locker room for halftime ole boy runs up on his head coach and tries to scrap. I know folks are describing it as a heated discussion but Applewhite wasn’t talking. He was headed to the locker room and the strength and conditioning coach, Rod Grace, was literally holding Oliver back like they were in the street. I can’t make this foolishness up.

When the team came back out to finish beating the brakes off of Tulane 48-17 Oliver didn’t join the team on the sideline. However, he was active on Twitter in the second half so he was somewhere watching the game.

Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! These young people have lost their darn minds. Never in a million years would you run up on your coach that just checked you for being wrong in the first place and try to fight him. I know that Oliver is about to get drafted so he doesn’t care but Applewhite, if he already hasn’t, should kick that dun off of the team on GP. That’s general purposes for y’all that don’t know. Just Because! You can’t let a boy run up on you and pull that type of stunt because you’ll lose the whole team.

You let one cat get away with it and the next cat is coming with the full clown suit on complete with the water spitting flower. It would be chaos!!! Let that dun go!! There’s no coming back from attempting to jump on your head coach. That’s like stepping up to your father at the crib trying to fight him because he checked you about something. You can no longer lay your head under his roof or eat his food. When you make that type of decision it’s over.

I know that these young cats will say that Applewhite disrespected him on the sideline. They’re somewhere saying right now, “You can’t do that coach, you wrong!” That’s the problem with these young cats today. Most of them are being raised without a man in the house and most of these mommas are telling them they are the man of the house when they don’t pay for anything or own anything. So when you check them for being wrong they flip on you. They’ve never been taught that there is an order to this thing we call life. That’s why we’re in shambles as a society right now.

The crazy thing is, Oliver will be back on the sideline before the season is out because nobody has the gonads to put him off of the team for his behavior. Stop me when I start lyin’!
