Before the duns on ESPN drop their Top 4 rankings this week for the College Football Playoffs. Let me tell you what I’m thinking. Now keep it mind that this thing is fluid and it changes from week to week depending up what boyz do or don’t do, play or don’t play.
I’ve been down on Alabama being ranked No.1 up to this point because they haven’t played a real football team until they went to Death Valley on Saturday night. Even though they beat the brakes off of LSU it was still their first real football game of the season because their schedule is trash. Having played dull Louisville team on a neutral site was foolishness. We just saw Clemson put 77 on them on Saturday. Then they’ve played Arkansas State, Louisiana Lafayette and the rest of the lowly SEC West in Arkansas, Tennessee, Ole Miss, Mizzou and A&M.
Therefore, I’ve still got Notre Dame ranked No.1 because of strength of schedule. They’ve at least played a respectable schedule with traditionally good teams with the exception of Ball State. Clemson’s playing in the ACC and it’s terrible this year. They’re schedule isn’t any better than Bama’s at this point. Michigan’s got one loss but guess what playa? It’s to undefeated Notre Dame. So it’s easy for me to put them in this order.
Top 4 for Week 11 of the College Football Season:
1) Notre Dame
2) Alabama
3) Clemson
4) Michigan
Now do I think Notre Dame is better than Bama or Clemson? No!! However, at this point in the season they deserve to be ranked ahead of them because of their resume. I know many of you will try to justify putting Georgia in the top 4 ahead of Michigan. However, Georgia loss was to LSU who loss to a two loss Florida team. Michigan’s loss was to an undefeated Notre Dame. It’s simple bruh.
Again, this thing is fluid and I’m simply ranking teams based on what their resumes say because if the wins and the losses don’t count then why are we even playing the games? Don’t tell me who you think is better because they’re keeping score for a reason. In the famous words of Bill Parcells, “You are what your record says you are.” Stop me when I start lyin’!
what is the prize you would have Notre Dame number one I can’t wait till the end of the season I will be one of the ones rubbing this in on you how can writers like you continually put down the SEC it has proven itself time and time again I was never an SEC fan or of any team but I appreciate good football open your eyes dude it’s the best college football in the country
No it isn’t! Alabama is holding the entire conference up and has been for years!! There are 14 teams in the conference not just one.
The Championships speak for themselves man and as far as the conference I agree with you the SEC is Head and Shoulders above any other conference and I applaud them because they put more of an emphasis on defense than any other conference
Again, Bama is the conference. There are 14 teams in the SEC and they are holding the entire joint up. Arkansas, Tennessee, Mizzou, Vandy, UK, A&M, Ole Miss, Miss St.,all holler SEC and they’ve won nothing!!! Florida, Auburn, LSU and Alabama have been winners. The rest are bottom feeders.

They PRETEND to use metrics, schedules, etc when it comes to OTHER teams…with SEC teams they IGNORE metrics..like Alabama last year dominated by Auburn, had worse schedule of ALL Power 5s, didnt play ONE top ten except Auburn and didnt even PLAY in conf championshp
