There is an old colloquialism that says, “You can take a boy out of the ghetto but you can’t take the ghetto out of him.” In the suburbs they something like “you can’t change a leopard’s spots.” Same thing but my ghetto joint sounds cooler.
Well playas…regardless of where you’re from one thing is for certain, cheaters will cheat for the sake of cheating because they can always get away with cheating. The New England Patriots are it again because all the league is going to do is fine them. In their minds, it the cost of doing business.
On last week on December 8 they were caught cheating by a Cincinnati Bengals security officer while trying to film the Bengals sideline. They hired a guy to literally go into the press box with credentials and film the Bengals sideline.
However, the Bengals security rolled up on the Patriots’ videographer with his camera rolling and caught him in the middle of this foolishness. He also got him on tape lying about what he was trying to do and then trying to hustle his way out of it.
They were credentialed by the Browns to shoot video for a Patriots web series called “Do Your Job” on an advance scout for the team. Now let me explain to folks what advance scout is. Teams will have their scouts come out and watch the teams that are about to play the next week. They are supposed to be filming what’s happening on the field and not on the sideline.
First of all, Patriots didn’t tell the Bengals nor the NFL what they were doing and called it “an unintended oversight.”
The Bengals security guy was all over this foolishness when he asked the Patriots videographer “was this footage profiling an advance scout?” The guy filming said yes, and the security guy said “Come on, guys! I don’t see the advance scout in this footage.” Busted!!!!!
Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! These are the same cats that got caught up in SpyGate in 2007 and DeFlateGate in 2015. So to think that anyone’s giving them the benefit of the doubt this time is crazy.
They’ve been to nine Super Bowls in 19 years and won 6 of them in the greatest professional football league on the planet. This is why they’ve been so dominant. Don’t think for one minute that Bill Belicheck and Tom Brady are just that much better than every other professional in their class. Stop it.
When you’ve got the other team’s plays, formations and signals it’s a lot easier to dominate. When you’re looking at the other guys cards at the table it’s easier to win. When you’re counting cards at the casino all night it’s easier to walk away with more bread than you’re opponent. When you rig the machines to only allow folks to win once you’ve made a profit, it’s easier to make a fortune.
