On Thursday the NFL and NFLPA announced a standstill on the anthem rules after the Miami Dolphins jumped out of the birthday cake butt naked foamin’ at the mouth with a ridiculous submission of paperwork. Accordin’ to the Associated Press the South Florida team issued a 9-page report to the NFL stating that players that protested durin’ the anthem could be suspended for four games.

Sources close to the team say that they were merely filing paperwork required by the NFL of every team prior to reporting to training camp. A dun inside of the organization says that the team has not discussed and doesn’t expect to impose suspensions for protesting during the anthem.

Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! The NFL has made a complete mess of this situation!! Back in May the league announced the foolish rules for protesting the anthem. They told a boy that teams would be fined if players decided to protest the anthem while on the field. They could not sit or take a knee. However, if players wanted to remain in the locker room during the anthem they could. However, they would leave any discipline of individual players up to the teams. WHAT?!!

When the Dolphins submitted their rules the NFL knew that this was about to get ignorant. Four games? And duns like Jerry Jones hasn’t even spoken yet!! This was about to turn into some foolishness across the league and the attention would once again would be on the protests or potential protests instead of the game of football. Train wreck.

So instead of makin’ a fool of itself going into training camp they’ve decided to put a halt to that discussion for the time being. However, here’s the problem playas. It’s not going anywhere because in May the NFL pulled the scab off of the wound when it was almost healed.

The anthem protests were pretty much dead in the water until they announced the idiotic rules in May. If players decide to stay in the locker room boyz will be sayin’ that they’re disrespecting the flag even though they’ve got permission from the league to do so. In other words, they have a right to stay in the locker room according to that rule.

It’s no different than them having the constitutional right to protest in the first place. A COMPLETE mess bruh! It’ll be interesting to see how this foolishness plays out before the start of the season. Stop me when I start lyin’!
