INDIANAPOLIS — The Indiana Pacers were riding a six game winning streak as they showed up for their final game before the All-Star break. However, their opponent was the duns with the best record in the league and a 6’11” Freak that goes by the name of Giannis Antetokounmpo. By the time the smoke cleared the Milwaukee Bucks were walking out of the joint with a 106-97 win.

As you would imagine, boyz had absolutely no answer for the Greek Freak. Ole boy finished the night with a massive triple double of 33 points, 19 rebounds and 11 assists as the Bucks win their last eight out of nine games. They’ve even won seven straight road games which is the best they’ve done since the 1984-85 season. That’s NUTS!!!

Indiana went into halftime down 8 points and came out of it rolling. With 9:30 left to play they’d jumped all over the Bucks and was actually up 86-76. However, Antetokounmpo and Co. put in work to outscore the Pacers 30-11 down the stretch with the Freak scoring 12 of those final 30.

Malcolm Brogdon dropped off 17 for the Bucks as Khris Middleton gave them 15. Both George Hill and Ersan Iiyasova had 12 and 11 points respectfully.

Bojan Bogdanovic led the Pacers with 20 points as Darren Collison and Domantas Sabonis each dropped off 14 apiece. Myles Turner had 11. Indiana did not reach it’s goal of 25 assists but instead only recorded 22 and were destroyed on the glass as the Bucks recorded 52 rebounds verses 43.

It is what it is. The Pacers are still in great shape in the Eastern Conference sitting in the third spot and we’ll see them on the other side of the All-Star break. Stop me when I start lyin’!
