Domantas Sabonis had to come out of the bushes early on Sunday after the starter, Myles Turner, picked up two early fouls. Before ole boy could sit down good after the openin’ tip the big homie Nate McMillan was callin’ his name. Sabonis didn’t disappoint as he filled in like cream fillin’ of an old school Twinkie.

He led all scorers with a career high 30 points as he helped the Indiana Pacers to a 123-117 win over the Charlotte Hornets. Victor Oladipo finished with 27 points, 5 assists and 3 steals as Bojan Bogdanovic, Corey Joseph and Glenn Robinson III all dropped off 13 points apiece on their way to Big Momma’s house.

On Friday, Indiana comin’ off of a huge home win to Golden State on Thursday after postin’ a 3-1 record on their West Coast trip, they crashed and burned in Toronto. They looked a hot mess but got a Hall Pass from Ya Boy because they’d been playin’ so well.

After takin’ care of business in Charlotte on Sunday they’ve won 7 of their last 9 games and are headed back to the crib to face the Hornets again on Tuesday night. They’ve already earned a playoff spot sittin’ at the fifth spot and scheduled to face LeBron and Company next week when the post-season starts.

In order for the Blue and Gold to win the Central Division however, they’ve got to beat Charlotte again and have Cleveland lose their final two game to the dull Knicks. Now that’s way too much wishful thinkin’ for a Pacers fan to be doin’ this late in the season playboy.

I think duns are just ecstatic to be in the playoffs comin’ off of the Paul George trade over the summer and the bleak outlook boyz had on the season goin’ into trainin’ camp. The fans that is.

Who wouldn’t want to have home court advantage in the playoffs against LeBron right? However, boyz are forgettin’ that LeBron has control over whether he gets to have home court advantage over the Pacers in the playoffs the next two games. Did I mention that they were playin’ the dull Knicks? So lets just be cool with gettin’ a chance to compete in the playoffs.

Yes I know that Indiana owned the Cavs this season postin’ a 3-1 record over these boyz but that was the regular season and LeBron’s legacy wasn’t on the line. The game just turned up like 10 fold. Hopefully the Pacers can win a couple games and keep their dignity. Stop me when I start lyin’!

Playas Thesaurus:

1) Out of the bushes: verb phrase: to come off of the bench

2) Ole boy: noun – the person that I’m currently talkin’ about.

3) Dun: noun – the person in question, dude, guy, etc. It’s whoever I’m talkin’ about and its non-gender specific.

The G is excluded from the endings of all words because the G is near and dear to my heart because I’m from “The G” which is Gary, Indiana. So I only use the G when I’m talkin’ about “The G!”
