OAKLAND, CA. — The Houston Rockets let a boy know that they weren’t just goin’ to come out of their sneakers and jewelry that easily. Down 2-1 comin’ into Game 4 after a 41 point embarrassment in Game 3 they tightened the grip and took care of business in a hostile environment. When the smoke cleared on Tuesday they walked outta the joint with a 95-92 win over the Golden State Warriors to even the series at 2 apiece.

Although James Harden struggled down the stretch and couldn’t hit an elephant in the butt with a base fiddle. Ole boy led the Rockets with 30 points. His boy Chris Paul added 27 as Eric Gordon came out of the bushes with a solid 14 to carry Houston to victory. They were the only three players in double figures for the Rockets.

They shot as poorly as a team as you could imagine at 39 percent from the field and 31 percent from behind the arc. However, they played some hella defense on the other end of the floor to keep Golden State from shootin’ any better. The Warriors were held to 39 percent from the field and 33 percent from downtown too. That NUTS!!!

Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! Everybody and their baby’s momma thought that Game 4 was about to be an extension of Game 3 when Golden State opened the game on a 12-0 run. Boyz started grabbin’ for the remote ready to channel surf for the rest of the evenin’.

Then the Rockets withstood the third quarter blitz that Goden State always goes on. They are the best third quarter scorin’ team in the universe. When D’Antoni’s squad didn’t fold the tents after that it was Chris Brown up in that piece, “On and Poppin’!”

Even though Steph Curry finished with 28 points and Kevin Durant came out of the passenger seat on a boy with 27 and 12 rebounds the Rockets held on to the knot at the end of the rope. Draymond balled out too finishin’ with 11 points, 14 rebounds and 8 assists followed by Klay Thompson’s 10 points.

But it was Houston’s defense down the stretch that saved their season. It was like there was a lid on the rim in the final three minutes for Golden State. They couldn’t buy a bucket with some old school stolen food stamps. Nothin’ was fallen. With the win, Houston snaps Golden State’s home playoff win streak at 16 games.

Now it’s back to Houston for Game 5 and it’s goin’ to be CRAZY in H-Town!! “Somebody rockin’ knockin’ da boots” and stop me when I start lyin’!
