Remember the lie “LeBron’s only dominating because he’s in a weak East!” Well…he’s doing the same thing in the West!

LeBron and the Lakers clinch the No1 seed in the West after beating the Utah Jazz 116-108 on Monday night.

Not long ago there was a time when boyz would sit around the barber shop and lie to themselves about how good LeBron wasn’t. The hate would just seep out of their pours. When someone would bring up the fact that he was in the Finals every year….8 straight, as a matter of fact.

The response would be, “LeBron is only getting there every year because he’s playing in the weaker East. He wouldn’t do that if he were playing in the West.” Remember that lie they were telling themselves? Remember that?

Well…he’s in the West now and he’s seems to be just as dominant, even in year 17, as he was in the East. With their win on Monday night against the Utah Jazz 116-108 they’ve clinched the top seed in the West.

The Lakers (51-15) have a six-game lead over the second-place Los Angeles Clippers with five seeding games left to play. They haven’t made the playoffs since 2013. Let that sink in.

Of course they aren’t in the Finals yet because they’ve got to play the darn thing out. However, he’s literally doing the same thing he was doing in the East in the West. Dominating!!!

Don’t get it twist playa, when he got hurt last year he had the Lakers, within two months of playing in the West, two games out of first place.

After missing a ton of games they didn’t make the playoffs. Everywhere this Dun goes he creates a winning atmosphere. You literally can put him on ANY team in the NBA and they would be one of the best teams in the league. ANY team. Pick one.

He was drafted to the worst team in the league in 2003 and by 2007 the Cavs had the best record in the NBA with zero players other than LeBron. He took some bums (relatively speaking) to the Finals. Sure, they got swept because they were playing, at the time, the second rated team of all-time behind the 72-10 Bulls, the San Antonio Spurs.

He left the Cavs in 2010 after receiving ZERO help in 7 seasons and went to the Heat. Now keep in mind the Heat was barely a playoff team with an aging D Wade with bad knees when LeBron took over in South Beach.

He literally resurrected D Wade’s career and added another 7 or 8 years to it. He led them to 4 straight Finals winning two championships. They should have won the 2011 title but got caught slippin’. The loss in 2014 to San Antonio was real. The Spurs were clearly the better team because D Wade was a shell of himself and Bosh didn’t show up. Lebron had ZERO help in the series. The BEST team always wins a best of 7 series.

He left Miami and goes back to THEE worst team in the league and takes them back to 4 straight Finals. Mind you, Miami nor Cleveland made the playoffs the year after LeBron left each team respectively.

He shows up in Cleveland again and does the impossible. He takes them to the Finals 4 straight times like it was taking candy from a baby. Not only that, but in 2015 he drug the Cavs to the Finals by himself because both Kyrie and Kevin Love were hurt the entire playoffs. Kyrie only played in the first game in the Finals.

LeBron was winning with cats like JR Smith, Iman Shumpert and Matthew Dellavadova. Bruh!!! Both Smith and Shumpert were traded from the Knicks in December of 2015 for a second round pick in 2019. They literally gave them away for a pack of Now and Laters and a bag of sunflower seeds and Dellavadova was…well…Matthew Dellavadova.

He turned around the following year and beat the 73-9 Warriors leading both teams in the Finals in points, rebounds, assists, blocks and steals. That’s never been done before. EVER!

But all the barber shop experts will tell you that he was only dominating like that because he was playing in the East. For years I’ve been saying, ‘Put the Dun on any team in the league and he’ll repeat the same results.’

The Lakers were trash when he showed up and in less than two years they are the best team in the West. And PLEASE..miss me with the “Anthony Davis is the reason for the season” talk. A.D. was in New Orleans and couldn’t sniff the playoffs by himself. Stop it.

The only reason it’s taken this long for LeBron to get them to the top seed is because he got hurt last year. It’s time to admit that he’s the best we’ve EVER seen lace them up. Oh by the way, the Cavs after Lebron left this last time are back to being a bottom feeder in the league. I wonder why? Stop me when I start lyin’
