IOWA CITY–The No.3 Purdue Boilermakers are sprintin’ through the Big Ten like wet toilet paper these days. They ran up to Iowa City where they hadn’t won in seven years and beat the brakes off of the Hawkeyes 87-64 to stretch it’s season win streak to 15 games. In doin’ so, they put the rest of the Big Ten on notice just in case they haven’t been payin’ attention. Matt Painter’s boyz ripped off 18 straight points to go up 24-6 and it was a complete draggin’ from there.

The Boilermakers (19-2, 8-0 Big Ten) shot the lights out of the gym at 55 percent from the field and 61 percent from behind the arc. They put up a Big Ten record matchin’ 20 three-pointers for good measure. It was NUTS!!! By the time boyz could sit down good to watch it they were up 51-20 at the half.

Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! These cats from West Lafayette are not playin’ this year. Complete squad!! Do you hear me?

Carsen Edwards led all scorers with 22 points and a career high 8 assists with no turnovers. Vincent Edwards came out of the passenger door with 19 as P.J. Thompson climbed out of the back seat with 14 points. Dakota Mathias stood up in the power hole and gave them 12 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists.

It’s gonna be hard to slow these cats down because now they’re like a runaway Big Body Chevy sittin’ on 24’s with black and gold candy paint with Purdue Pete drivin’ blind folded with no brakes.

Next victim Michigan on the 25th and stop me when I start lyin’!

The G is excluded from the endings of all words because the G is near and dear to my heart because I’m from “The G” which is Gary, Indiana. So I only use the G when I’m talkin’ about “The G!”
