MILWAUKEE — After an impressive home and season opener at Bankers Life Fieldhouse on Wednesday night blasting the Memphis Grizzlies. The Pacers made the quick road trip up to Milwaukee to open their new arena. They got off of the bus with crazy swag and ran into a buzz saw called the Greek Freak and Co. losing 118-101.

The Pacers come out of the ride and jump all over the Bucks going up 8-0 before Milwaukee got on the board. The Greek Freak scores the Bucks first four points before they go on a 11-2 run. In the blink of an eye Milwaukee went on a 25-8 run to open their new building, the Fiserv Forum. At the end of the first quarter the Bucks led it 30-25 after starting 0-7 from the field. Giannis Antetokounmpo drops off 10 points in the first quarter alone to set the tone.

The Bucks took 13 three-pointers in the first quarter out of their 28 total shot attempts. Did I tell you that the Pacers had absolutely no answer for the Greek Freak? Well I’m telling you now. He’s 6’11” 242 lbs., can run the floor and move like an eagle on the air. He’s got complete control of his body while airborne. It’s NUTS!! I stopped counting the amount of dunks ole boy had by the 7 minute mark of the second quarter.

The Pacers continued to struggle to find an answer for Giannis as he gets to the break with 22 points and 11 rebounds. Victor Oladipo finishes the first half with 13 points as the Blue and Gold is down 62-53 at the break.

After blasting the Grizzlies on opening night in the rebounding department the Bucks put on a clinic in the first half by out rebounding the Pacers 28-19.

The Bucks continued to shoot the three like some snipers into the second half. They attempted as many three point shots as regular field goals making 14 threes by the end of the third. After three quarters the Bucks were up 93-76. Let’s just say that Milwaukee had their way in their home opener.

The Greek Freak finished with 22 of this 26 points in the first half but the rest of his teammates took over where he left off in the scoring department. There were 6 Bucks in double figures with Middleton dropping off 23, Brogdon with 15, Bledsoe with 12 and both Snell and Henson each had 10. As a team, they made 17 three-pointers and out rebounding the Pacers 50-41. Did I mention that the Greek Freak also had 12 rebounds? Well I just did.

Victor Oladipo led Indiana with 25 points followed by Doug McDermott’s 14. Dominates Sabonis dropped off a solid 12 as Myles Turner got taken to the cleaners with 11 points and only 4 rebounds. Giannis went to work on him and it was clear that ole boy was way more athletic and aggressive to the rack than ole Myles. Darren Collison and Tyreke Evans each had 10. Up next Brooklyn at home on Saturday night. Stop me when I start lyin’!
