Pacers prove that teamwork STIILL works even in the NBA in win over Grizzlies!! “Chemistry”

So many times people use the word TEAM loosely but when boyz are talkin’ about the Indiana Pacers they’ve got it right. There is an old African Proverb that says, “It takes a village to raise a child.” Well playas…it takes a entire Pacers TEAM to win ball games.

Sure, there is a superstar on the team and he’s even been named to his first All-Star game but he plays the game the way it’s supposed to be played. Victor Oladipo doesn’t demand shots or the ball. He just plays the game with his TEAM. On Wednesday night the Pacers battled and beat with a short handed Memphis Grizzlies squad 105-101 that literally showed up with 9 cats. They were without Indy native Mike Conley as well.

Indiana had 7 players finish in double figures and Oladipo only scored 13 points.

Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! It’s great when the lead stud doesn’t come up big and the TEAM still wins. That means that boyz have the chemistry to make things happen and that they trust their teammates.

They were led by Bojan Bogdanovic with 21 points as Darren Collison put up a clean 16. Myles Turner re-entered the startin’ lineup after recoverin’ from the elbow injury with a solid double-double finishin’ with 15 points and 11 rebounds. He also dropped off 3 blocks for good measure.

Lance “The Don Dada” put a little sauce in the soup as he added 13 to the kitty. Thaddeus Young and Domantas Sabonis both dropped off 10 apiece on their way to Big Momma’s house.

So even when Oladipo only manages 13 points the TEAM shows up. It’s been great to watch this group play this season. They’re up to 29 wins and we haven’t hit the All-Star break yet. WOW!!! Who would have thought it? I know that I didn’t. Up next: Charlotte on Friday and you can stop me when I start lyin’!

Playas Thesaurus:

1) Dun: noun – the person in question, dude, guy, etc. It’s whoever I’m talkin’ about and its non-gender specific.

The G is excluded from the endings of all words because the G is near and dear to my heart because I’m from “The G” which is Gary, Indiana. So I only use the G when I’m talkin’ about “The G!”
