Pacers played a very good game but Golden State is just on another level! “Shooters”

INDIANAPOLIS — When the two-time defending NBA Champs roll into town it’s like the Beatles landing in the U.S. for the first time. Everybody and their baby’s momma, Uncle LeRoy and Cousin Man-Man showed up to see what it looks like in real life. Well playas…it was all of that and a bag of Funions with a red pop on the side. They didn’t hold anything back giving Indiana everything in the kitchen but the leftovers. Oh yeah, they kept it fresh!!! Golden State beat the brakes off of Indiana 132-100.

Myles Turner jumped out of ride and drew first blood blocking Boogie Cousin’s first shot by pinning it to the backboard. I guess he was letting boyz know that the league’s leading shot blocker lives in Bankers Life Fieldhouse. After a few trips up and down the floor the Warriors were up 11-6 when Myles Turner blocked another shot by Cousins but he fouled the mess out of him resulting in a Flagrant One. Boogie was putting in work scoring 7 of his 22 points in the first five and a half minutes.

Indiana kept it tight with it all knotted up at 16-16 until Steph pulled the shooter out of the case and started firing that thang up. He dropped two three’s in a row that got the crowd on it’s feet. Then he pulled the razzle dazzle on a boy and gave them the floater. Before I could bite into my hot dog it was 24-16 and they were off to the races.

It was like somebody turned the lights off, turned them right back on and it was 32-17 just like that. Potent!!! Shooters don’t need help with turnovers. At the end of the first quarter Golden State was doing whatever they wanted to do as they were up 40-22.

The Pacers’ TJ Leaf got a put back dunk early in the second quarter and swung on the rim. So on the next trip down the floor Klay Thompson made sure that he understood what a put back dunk is supposed to look like. It was NUTS!!!

It’s amazing how well the Warriors shoot the rock. Darn near everything they were putting in the air was going in. They weren’t even looking at the rim half the time. Steph pulled a three out of his back pocket after literally stepping over the half court line. It was ridiculous!!! He was shooting 9 of 10 from the field and at one point he was 6-6 from three. They had a darn rope on the ball.

Even though the Pacers were getting run out of the gym they were still fighting getting within 18 at the 1:28 mark they were down 64-46. At the buzzer to go into the half Steph Curry pulled up from 38th and College Ave. draining a three to go up 69-48. Incredible!!!

Steph cooled down in the third quarter only scoring on one three pointer but the rest of the squad kept putting in work. At the end of three they were up 101-79. At that point Steve Kerr started resting boyz. Steph Curry finished with 26, Boogie Cousins had 22 and both Klay Thompson and Kevin Durant dropped off a smooth 16 apiece.

What’s so crazy is that the Pacers didn’t play bad at all. They shot 42 percent from the field and 40 percent from behind the arc. They finished with 29 total assists!! Nate McMillan’s goal is typically 25 and if they reach that goal they typically win. They got beat by 32 bruh!!!

Myles Turner led the Pacers with 16 points, Bojan Bogdanovic dropped off 15 and Darren Collison finished with 13. Aaron Holiday played 22 minutes and scored 12 points.

It wasn’t the Pacers it was the Golden State Warriors. You know a boy normally tells a girl it’s not you, it’s me? Well..it wasn’t the Pacers is was Golden State. They’re just that good. Stop me when I start lyin’!
