Oklahoma State’s Mike Gundy puts his OWN selfish ambition ahead of the safety of his players and staff! “Out of the Abundance of the Mouth”

It’s troubling to hear a college coach be so ignorant and selfish during this pandemic about hurrying up to get back to work. Oklahoma State’s Mike Gundy promised mommas and daddies from around the country that he would take care of their children. However, when the grease is turned up he’s willing to sacrifice everybody because he’s ready to get back to football business as usual.

He showed everybody at the card game his hand last week when he started pushing to get back to work on May 1 when nobody, their baby’s momma or Uncle LeRoy said May 1 was even possible. He’s itching to get back to work and was wreckless in even talking about it.

He was so cavalier in saying that once they get back and someone tests positive they would get “quarantined just like we do people that get the flu.” Like this is the flu!!! What’s wrong with this cat?

He says, “We get people that get the flu during the season, we quarantine them, we treat them, we make sure they’re healthy, we bring ’em back,” Gundy said. “It would be the same thing here, but at some point, we’ve got to go back to work. We’ve got to get these guys back in here. … From what I read, the healthy people can fight this, the antibodies make it better. They’re doing some blood transplants now with the people that have already gotten the disease, that have gotten over it that have the antibodies that can fight it. There’s a lot of people who can figure this out. May 1’s our goal. Don’t know if it will happen. Players will come in after that.”

But nobody has told him that May 1 was the drop date to go back to work. This is real out here bruh!!! The selfishness is crazy to me. He’s standing at the front door with his coat and hat on and nobody’s told him that they were on their way to pick him up. This is the greed and selfishness and selfishness at it’s finest. His comments get even worse because he’s sounding like he willing to sacrifice his players because they’re young and healthy. What’s crazy to me is that he’s still getting a paycheck.

The dun goes on to say, “There could be people who work in the football building who are older or maybe have some type of underlying condition. Maybe they don’t come back but the majority of people in this building who are healthy, and certainly the 18-, 19-, 20-, 21-, 22-year-olds that are healthy, the so-called medical people saying the herd of healthy people that have the antibodies maybe built up and can fight this. We all need to go back to work.”

This is the foolishness that comes out of a so-called university leader’s mouth. In essence, I don’t care about anyone or anything but my OWN selfish ambition. That’s the person that’s leading the Oklahoma State football program and it’s a darn shame. Luke 6:45 says, “Out of the abundance of the mouth the heart speaks.” Stop me when I start lyin’!
