COLUMBUS, OHIO–For the second year in a row the UConn Huskies lose in overtime in the National Semi-Final after being 36-0! Last year they were beaten by Miss State as Morgan William knocked down the buzzer beater to end the Huskies 111 game winnin’ streak. This year Notre Dame side swiped them with 1 second left in overtime to advance to the title game 91-89.

The Fightin’ Irish’s Arike Ogunbolwale squared up and knocked down the game winner like she was O.G. Bobby Johnson or somebody. Ole girl finished the night with 27 points. However, Notre Dame was led by Jackie Young’s career high 32 points. Talk about steppin’ up and lookin’ the beast square in the eye!!!

Everybody and their baby’s momma seems to run for the hills when UConn steps into the buildin’ but not Notre Dame! The Huskies have loss seven straight games in overtime and four of those have been to the girls from South Bend. Some G’s right there!!!

Muffet McGraw’s squad makes a return to the national title game for the first time since 2015 and they’re lookin’ to win their second national title to go along with the one they won in 2001.

Salute to the young ladies from Notre Dame for fightin’ down the stretch to win this ball game. NUTS!!!! Stop me when I start lyin’!

The G is excluded from the endings of all words because the G is near and dear to my heart because I’m from “The G” which is Gary, Indiana. So I only use the G when I’m talkin’ about “The G!”
