NFL players no longer have to kneel because Nike has taken the torch! “Louder and LOUDER”

"Thanks Nike for showin' up and showin' out!"

UNITED STATES OF AMERICA — Nelson Mandela once said, “Where globalization means, as it so often does, that the rich and powerful now have new means to further enrich and empower themselves at the cost of the poorer and weaker, we have a responsibility to protest in the name of universal freedom.” Barack Obama broke it down like this, “Let us remember we are all part of one American family. We are united in common values, and that includes belief in equality under the law, basic respect for public order, and the right of peaceful protest.”

Well playas…now that Nike has jumped into the ring with Colin Kaepernick the players in the NFL don’t have to kneel durin’ the national anthem to bring attention to the issues of police brutality, racial and social injustice. Now that a billion dollar corporation is doin’ all of the leg work for them they can get back to business as usual.

Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! Every time some clown burns a Nike shoe or shirt the message gets louder and louder. Every time some clown gets on television spittin’ hate for both Kaepernick and Nike the message screams through our television sets. Every time we see the ads online or on TV it’s better than the players kneelin’ because the message is everywhere everyday.

Before the message was only bein’ seen on Sunday’s before the games but now it’s everywhere and it’s not costin’ anyone else their career. Just since Monday Nike has gotten more than $43 million worth of free advertisin’ that literally translates into free messagin’ in protest of police brutality, racial and social injustice. It also exposes all of the hateful people that care nothin’ about their fellow Americans and the oppression that still exists. As long as these current issues don’t effect them they don’t care. That’s why you see folks burnin’ shoes or hatin’ Kaepernick.

The same so-called self-proclaimed patriots only care about them and theirs. They don’t even care about the veterans that they claim the players are disrespectin’.  When the national anthem is bein’ played at stadiums all over this country they are still sellin’ beer and boyz are still runnin’ to the toilet and smokin’ cigarettes in the smokin’ sections in stadiums. Where’s the respect for the flag then? There is none. Boyz just don’t want these black men to have the power or the platform to say enough is enough. It’s no different than when MLK lead the Civil Rights Movement or Muhammad Ali refusin’ to go to the Vietnam War.

When the Eagles and Falcons played on Thursday night everybody and their baby’s momma were lookin’ for players to kneel but none of them did because Nike’s given them a break. Even cats like Malcolm Jenkins and Michael Bennett stood up for the anthem because there was no need. The message has taken on a new look and it’s called Nike. It’s become bigger than ever now.

Thanks for bein’ on the right side of history in the continued fight for equality in America. Stop me when I start lyin’!

The G is excluded from the endings of all words because the G is near and dear to my heart because I’m from “The G” which is Gary, Indiana. So I only use the G when I’m talkin’ about “The G!”
