NFL players kneeling aren’t patriotic but Donald Trump ignoring McCain and playing flag games is? “Really?”

PETTYVILLE, USA. — As we all mourn the loss of an American hero, Senator John McCain, the President of the United States is caught in his selfish feelings and as of yesterday afternoon refused to acknowledge the man’s life and what he’s meant to this country as a true patriot.

Patriotism is about doin’ what’s right for this country and supportin’ the values of it. John McCain did just that. Sure, I didn’t always agree with his politics but he was a good man that served his country well. He made some mistakes along the way, as all human beings do, but he did a great job of correcting those mistakes and admitting when he was wrong. We all know that he was one of the reasons why Arizona was such a long hold out in making the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday a reality but he corrected it. People grow and become better.

However, the very person that is supposed to be the leader of this great country that has been spittin’ fire and vitriol at the NFL players callin’ them SOB’s for not being patriotic actually showed the world what NOT being patriotic looks like up close and personal on Monday.

Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! He wouldn’t even acknowledge questions about the senator at the White House. Ole boy just sat there ignoring the press. Then he made the pettiest move ever made by a grown man when he ordered the flag to be flown at half staff on Saturday but on Monday he had it raised to full staff again. Only to be pressured into lowerin’ it again. Who does that? A petty individual that doesn’t understand what patriotism smells or looks like.

However, he has the unmitigated gaul to tell NFL players that they aren’t patriotic because they’re exercising the very rights that guys like John McCain fought for. Unfortunately, the President can’t take his feelings out of it and be a grown man for just one day.

It’s a shame that this is the leadership we’re seeing in this country right now. We’ve got to do better! Stop me when I start lyin’!

Playas Thesaurus:

1) Dun: noun – the person in question, dude, guy, etc. It’s whoever I’m talkin’ about and its non-gender specific.

2) Ole boy: noun – the person that I’m currently talkin’ about.

The G is excluded from the endings of most words because the G is near and dear to my heart because I’m from “The G” which is Gary, Indiana. So I only use the G when I’m talkin’ about “The G!”
