Minnesota trades Jimmy Butler to Philly for a ham sandwich and some Funyuns! “Bangin’!”

BOOM!!!!!! The Philadelphia 76ers caught the Minnesota Timberwolves in a desperate situation holding on to a live hand grenade that they had to get rid of. It was either hold on to Jimmy Butler and allow him to destroy your team or get rid of him for a ham sandwich and bag of Funyuns. So they gave him up for the latter of the two.

The teams agreed to trade Butler to Philly for forwards Robert Covington and Dario Saric, guard Jerryd Bayless and a 2022 second round pick. Who??? Like I said playa, they caught them in a desperate situation and they gave up a huge asset for a grape pop and some penny cookies.

Smart move on Philly’s part because they’re looking at this as a one way rental. They can’t talk long term deal until Butler opts out of the final year of his current deal at the end of the season. So to give up nothing was smart and they can compete right now for a spot at the championship table.

Think about it, Joel Embiid, Ben Simmons and Jimmy Butler? On one team? In the EAST? Bruh…that’s going to be fun to watch. Now we’ve got Boston! Bangin’!! Milwaukee! Bangin’! Toronto! Bangin’! And now Philly! Bangin’! Let’s GO!!!! Don’t forget about the Pacers giving boyz fits in the East too! Stop me when I start lyin’!
