Well playas…the day that everybody and their baby’s momma, Uncle LeRoy and cousin Man-Man has been waiting for is finally here. Yes, it’s Christmas but not for the sake of it being Christmas but the fact that the Lakers and Clippers bump heads this evening.
They met back on October 22 on opening night of the NBA season but it was, well, opening night playa. The Clippers walked out of the joint with a 112-102 victory but it was opening night.
The Clippers were without Paul George who missed all of training camp and the first 11 games due to shoulder surgery. Now he back and in my Big Momma voice “Ret-To-Go.”
Mr. Load Management himself, Kawhi Leonard had this to say about it after Christmas Eve practice, “It was just the first game of the season, everybody was just trying to get in their rhythm. I think they got Kuzma back playing and now we got Paul George, so it’s gonna be two different teams.”
The Lakers are now jelling and they’ve got, like ole boy said, Kyle Kuzma back to rock with both LeBron and Anthony Davis. Oh yeah, Rajon Rondo is up and running now and the supporting cast is balling. Duns like Dwight Howard and Javale McGee are playing well up tp this point. As a matter of fact, Dwight Howard is looking as well as he did back in his Orlando Magic days before his head got all twisted when Kobe hazed him. Now that was HILARIOUS!!!!
Yeah, it should be fun to watch this evening. Everybody’s belly should be full and their NBA appetite on 10 after watching the other games today. So by the time this one tips off it’ll be crazy. Talk about having a playoff atmosphere in the Staples Center for this one! NUTS!!! In my Bart Scott voice, “Can’t Wait!”
