Lonzo Ball finally sees the light as he distances himself from the Big Baller Brand! “Kickin’ Rocks”

Like I’ve said a million times over, “At some point y’all gone start listenin’ to me.” Not even twenty-four hours after ESPN’s Ramona Shelborn and Paula Lavigne published a piece breaking down the foolishness involving LaVar Ball’s boy, Alan Foster, stealing $1.5 million from the Big Baller Brand. Lonzo Ball removes all traces of the brand from his social media accounts.

Ole boy posted a joint on Instagram on Saturday night with the caption that read, “Moving on to bigger and better #MyOwnMan. The picture that he posted shows his jersey in the rafters at Staples Center and reads: “It’s only a crazy dream until you do it.” Reading between the lines playa, that’s the tagline of the most recent Nike ad campaign focused on Serena Williams. Key word is NIKE!!

So let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! Lonzo is finally becoming his own man and is getting out from underneath the foolishness of his father. Like I’ve said from the word go it was something he needed to do from jump. When the dun was in college and his ole man was hollerin’ that Big Baller Brand nonsense and not signing with either of the big three apparel companies (Nike, Adidas or Reebok) I said he was crazy.

It’s one thing to try to start your own company but it’s entirely another to tell the duns that own the business you’re tryin to get into to kick rocks. You need those companies to help you build your business and if nothing else to distribute it. They are the prinicple distributors of the products you’re trying to sell. Who does that?

That’s like Puffy telling Sony, Universal, Warner and EMI to kick rocks . Sure, he had quality product to sell but those companies provide the distribution channels that he needs to sell the darn records worldwide. If Nike, Adidas and Reebok has the joint on lock then you’ve got to fool with them in order to do your thing.

When I tried to tell you cats that a year ago you told me that I was hating. No!!! I just understand how business works and you can’t tell the dun that owns the distribution system that you’re going to bypass them and still operate in their space. Why? Because Big Baller Brand didn’t have the bread to get into the game at the same level.

Phil Knight, the owner of Nike, is worth $34 billion dollars bruh! You can’t tell him to kick rocks when you’re trying to get into his game. That’s like telling the old heads running Las Vegas that you’re about to open a casino right on the strip without their permission. Ain’t gone happen playboy!!

I’m glad that Lonzo finally woke up and is getting out from underneath the foolishness of his father and is now ready to make his own decisions when it comes to his future and his brand. It also looks like the youngest brother, LaMelo, is starting to see the light too as he commented on Lonzo’s Instagram post with, “love u brotha thanks for getting us out my G.”

At some point y’all gone start listenin’ to me!! Stop me when I start lyin’!
