LOS ANGELES — Without Victor Oladipo the Pacers played as well as they could have in LA on Thursday night but this guy named LeBron James continues to be a thorn in their side. For years they’ve had to battle him in the EAST with Cleveland and Miami and now he’s even messing up their West coast trip playing for the Lakers.

He scored 12 of his 38 points in the fourth quarter to keep the Pacers at bay to lift the Lakers to a 104-96 victory. Ole boy went to work on the Blue and Gold finishing with 38 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists as the Pacers did everything in their powers to slow him down. He’s what I’ve been calling “The Philistine” and there are no answers for him once he’s gets started. Unless you’ve got five smooth stones and a sling shot you’re in trouble. As well as the Pacers played he’s always a load and even in his 16th year there are still no answers for him.

Indiana was without Victor Oladipo for their sixth straight game due to soreness in his right knee but they played like some soldiers on the road. Domantas Sabonis led them with 20 points off of the bench followed by Bojan Bogdanovic’s 14 as Thaddeus Young dropped off 11. Both Doug McDermott and Corey Joseph each had 10 points.

What I want to know is where is Myles Turner? He got the bag at the beginning of the season and he’s been a virtual no-show ever since. He finished with 6 points and 6 rebounds on Thursday night playing a total of 30 minutes!!! Yo what’s up with that?

The Pacers signed him to a 4 year extension worth $72 million with incentives and bonuses that could pay him upwards of $80 million and he’s dropping off single digit and rebounding performances? When you guys find him will somebody please let me know or better yet, let the Pacers know because I’m quite sure they’re looking for him. Up next Sacramento on Saturday.
