INDIANAPOLIS, IN — As we prepare to kick off the 2018 football season everybody and their baby’s momma’s momma, Ms. Jackson, is runnin’ out to the sportin’ goods store to get all of the proper gear to look good. Boyz wanna make a statement when they get off of the bus and especially when they come out of the locker room.

There will be cats with multiple wrist bands on their arms, rags hangin’ off of their sides or butts and their shoes will be shining’ like new money. Some cats will be wearin’ the funky face masks and shields, sleeves and multi-colored shoe strings and socks. Why? Because everybody wants to make a statement!

Well playas…most of the homies that made my All-Unform team last season have graduated but there is one comin’ back that made a HUGE statement last year and that’s Lawrence Central’s Donivan Wright!!! Ole boy knew how to put the uniform on like a champ and therefore, he’s the 2018 prototype as we kick this joint off on Friday!!!

When I was a kid comin’ up playin’ this game we had a motto! “If you look good you play good!” The big homie Deion Sanders said it this way, “If you look good you play good! If you play good you get paid good!” Here’s a look back at my 2017 All-Uniform Team so you can get some ideas on how a real playa is supposed to look on Friday nights!

Every week I’ll be lookin’ for the next prototype. So if you think you’ve got what it takes to make the All-Uniform Team send me the photos playa! I’ll be coverin’ the games so if the prototype is out there I’ll see him. Stop me when I start lyin’!

Playas Thesaurus: Learn these words this football season!

1) Dun: noun – the person in question, dude, guy, etc. It’s whoever I’m talkin’ about and its non-gender specific.

2) Put it where the goats can get it: verb phrase – to make it as elementary as possible. To put it at ground level so everyone can understand it.

3) Ole boy: noun – the person that I’m currently talkin’ about.

4) Ms. Jackson: noun – song by rap group OutKast

The G is excluded from the endings of all words because the G is near and dear to my heart because I’m from “The G” which is Gary, Indiana. So I only use the G when I’m talkin’ about “The G!”

The caption under the photo isn’t real but its real talk!
