Everybody and their baby’s momma has dove into the pool to blast Fox News Anchor Laura Ingraham for her ignorant response to LeBron’s criticisms of Donald Trump. In case you’ve been under a rock LeBron has a multimedia platform that’s called “Uninterrupted” where he speaks about whatever he wants to talk about. He was talkin’ to Kevin Durant and ESPN’s Cari Champion while Cari’s drivin’ the vehicle. He made the comment that Trump doesn’t give a F–k about the American people and ole girl from Fox snapped.

She tries to be-little LeBron by sayin’ that he essentially couldn’t talk and that no one should be listenin’ to someone who left high school early to play basketball. She goes on to say, “You’re great players but no one voted for you. Millions elected Trump to be their coach. So keep the political commentary to yourself, or as someone once said, shut up and dribble.” Well…nobody voted for her either.
Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! How stupid does this woman sound sayin’ that Lebron tried to leave high school early for the NBA. The man GRADUATED from high school and then went to the NBA. Oh and by the way Ms. Laura, that dun signed a $95 million contract with Nike before he’d even graduated from high school or was drafted into the NBA!!! You had to go to college before you were able to even qualify for a career.
So while you’re sittin’ at work tryin’ to tell him that he can’t talk. He’s cashin’ checks that you’ll never be able to count let alone cash. He’s got a net worth of more than $400 million. While your net worth is $45 million. Now that’s nothin’ to sneeze at but the dun you’re tryin’ to look down your nose at is worth 10 times what you’re worth and he’s 20 years younger with nothin’ but a high school diploma. I’d say that that qualifies him to be smarter and wiser than you. Not only did he figure out that basketball was his gift but he’s maximized it in multiple ways.
It always blows my mind that people want to tell athletes to shut up and play or in her words “Shut up and Dribble” like that can’t have an opinion about what’s goin’ on in the world. Who gave her the authority to only be able to talk politics? Fox News? Really?
People that use that excuse always sound ignorant because every aspect of life is political. So if you’re livin’ in this world everything that you do is affected by politics. Every rule or law of the day has been either passed or drawn up as a result of politics.
Therefore, if those laws have an affect on your life, and they all do, then to talk about them is political. You don’t have to be a politician to talk politics because if that were the case Laura wouldn’t be allowed to speak on that jankey show that she hosts.
If she didn’t like LeBron bashin’ Donald Trump because she voted for him then she would have done better just sayin’ that. But to jump off of the roof comin’ at him side ways was crazy because it came across just like it came out. Extremely Racist!!!
To try to put ole boy into a box as just an athlete that couldn’t talk and that shouldn’t be thinkin’ for himself was racist. Not knowin’ that he’s worth the bread that he’s worth because he’s a businessman first and an athlete second. He figured out how to take advantage of free agency to maximize his earnings long before everybody else understood the power of it. He’s the most powerful player in the history of the NBA because of the shift in TV revenues that has allowed players to sign these enormous contracts over the past several years. That was because LeBron changed the landscape of the NBA in 2010. Now EVERYBODY watches it.
He took all of his homeboys out of the hood and taught them the game and now they’re multimillionaires too. He owns a plethora of businesses and he’s only 33 years old. Ask Laura Ingraham if speakin’ the King’s English properly is goin’ to help her make more bread than LeBron so that she can eventually look down her nose at him? Well playas, it ain’t gonna happen.
With her comments she did remind us of one thing. It doesn’t matter how much money you have. In the eyes of a racist you’re still the same ole thing to them. It’s the same ole song. Stop me when I start lyin’!
