THE FAR EAST SIDE — I’ve been writin’ about No.11 Ben Davis visitin’ No.1 Warren Central all week. I’ve talked about the matchup, the rivalry and the awesome running backs that will play in this game as well. These are two of the most storied programs in the history of Indiana high school football and on some real real, they’re the best!!!
The field will be littered with D1 talent and everybody and their baby’s momma that is recruitin’ future college football players will be in that piece tonight. I’ve talked about everybody all week but the best player in the state! Ladies and Gentlemen put your hands together for the Incomparable David Bell!!!
Accordin’ to 247Sports.com he’s the No.2 ranked recruit from the state of Indiana. He’s the 16th ranked wide receiver in the country and the 106th ranked overall player in America. In other worlds, he’s all that and a bag of flammin’ hots with a red pop on the side. During his first three years at Warren he’s caught 155 balls for 2,925 yards. So far this season he’s put up 418 receivin’ yards and scored 5 touchdowns but that doesn’t tell the entire story because he’s playin’ multiple positions.
Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! He might be the No.2 ranked recruit in Indiana but he’s darn sure the best football player and athlete in the state!!! No doubt about that playa. Not only will you see him lined up at wide receiver but he’s returnin’ kicks, punts and playin’ the heck out of corner too. Aw he’s a beast!!!
Did you hear about Warren Central’s hoop team winnin’ the Class 4A State Title last season goin’ an amazin’ 32-0? Well playas…he was the catalyst on that team makin’ big play after big play all season and he’s the dun that hit the game winnin’ shot to get rid of the great Romeo Langford and Co. in the semi-state at the buzzer. What does that have to do with football? Everything playboy!! It tells you what kind of competitor he really is. He’s not backin’ down to nobody and he fully understands that he’s the baddest cat on field every time he suits up.
He’s still got boyz wonderin’ as to where he’ll go to school next year. Before the season started he set Twitter on fire by announcin’ his Top 5 schools in no particular order and people went NUTS. His Top 5 was Purdue, Indiana, Penn State, Ohio State and Iowa. So I would imagine that all of those duns will be in the place to be tonight to see the David Bell Show on the biggest stage.
Remember the famous words of Santana Moss from the U, “Big time players make big time plays in big time games!” It doesn’t get any better than Ben Davis vs. Warren Central!
