Kevin Durant has to stay focused because Patrick Beverly isn’t the goal! “Wasted Bullets”

It’s that time of the year playas…it’s the NBA Playoffs!!! For the next two months is Chris Brown up in this piece, “On and Poppin’!” What better way to kick the joint off than to have the Clippers and Warriors battle at the Oracle with Kevin Durant and Patrick Beverly going at it and getting ejected late in the fourth quarter. The Warriors eventually won the game 121-104 but the entertainment was Bev and KD woofin’.

The two were going at it all day and with five minutes left to play they both got hit with technicals to try to settle them down. The refs didn’t want it to escalate. However, just 19 seconds later it did as KD ran up on a boy playing hella defense literally knocking ole boy over talking a $100 worth of noise. In the hood it’s called “the game inside of the game” and nobody’s trippin’. In the NBA it’s called the ref panicked and hit them with two technical fouls.

What those two were playing was the darn game of basketball at the highest levels and talking the noise taught to them by the O.G.’s that came before them.

Kevin Durant spoke with the media afterwards and had this to say, “I’ve been playing against Pat Bev since he was in Arkansas, so I kinda know what he brings. He’s a Chicago kid, man… grew up and raised in the Chicago area, so those dudes played with a different type of grit, so I can appreciate that about Pat. And we know what he’s gonna bring to the table — just physicality, mucking up the game a little bit with his physicality, his talking, just everything — that’s what he brings to each team he plays on. That’s his identity, and they support him with the Clippers. So for me, I know that coming into the series, so I thought it was fun tonight.”

It’s called basketball bruh!! And when you get two cats from the hood KD from DC and Bev from the Chi playing and competing that’s the gumbo you’re going to get and it was great. Here’s the only problem that a boy runs into right now, especially KD. You only get seven technicals fouls in the playoffs before you get suspended. The Warriors are playing for another championship. Therefore, they will be playing until mid-June. Ole boy’s only got four more techs to play with between now and then. The fifth will garner a suspension and they can’t afford that deep in the playoffs.

Taking the bait against the Clippers was like shooting all of your bullets when you hear somebody breaking into your house but you haven’t seen the intruder yet. Now what? It’s cool to talk trash and let Bev get you fired up in the regular season but it’s the playoffs now. What did Big Momma always say, “Errbody ain’t goin’ where you’re goin’ baby.”

Golden State is trying to get to the Finals and win a championship. The Clippers are literally trying to play for another week and a half to cash their playoff check. PERIODTTT! Therefore, KD needs to focus on the task at hand and holler at Bev in the off-season or next regular season. Stop me when I start lyin’!
