Kevin Durant has NOBODY to blame for his ruptured Achilles but himself! “Insecurities”

Debra Winger, the famous actress, once said, “Most bad behaviour comes from insecurity.” Naomi Campbell broke it down like this, “Anger is a manifestation of a deeper issue… and that, for me, is based on insecurity, self-esteem and loneliness.” Then Vin Diesel put it where the goats could get it when he spit, “It’s insecurity that is always chasing you and standing in the way of your dreams.”

Well playas…it was insecurity that forced Kevin Durant out on the floor in Game 5 when everybody and their baby’s momma knew that he shouldn’t have been out there including him. However, the very thing that had him trolling his former team on Twitter. The thing that has him wrestling with total strangers about what’s true about him or not. The thing that has him beefin’ with sports writers about his impending free agency is to blame for his now ruptured Achilles. Insecurity.

Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! When Golden State went down 3-1 to the Raptors we all heard the rumblings from the locker room about boyz questioning whether ole boy’z injury was legit or not. We already know that Draymond told him last year that he was not such a nice word and that they didn’t need him. He told KD that they’d already won a title without him so he could leave.

So now that Golden State was about to fall apart his own insecurities pushed him out of the plane without a parachute to try to prove to boyz that they did NEED him. In his mind he figured that he could change his entire image if he could pull the Warriors out of the jaws of death on a bum leg and carry them to the championship after being down 3-1. If he could do that he would forever be known as the savior of the greatest modern age dynasty basketball had ever seen.

However, what the dun forgot was that what he was trying to do was virtually impossible. He was in absolutely no shape and his Achilles and calf was already shot. You can’t go from 0-100mph when everybody else has already been cruising at 95mph.

Yes!! His insecurities caused this foolishness. Not Bob Myers. Not the Golden State training staff or doctors. Not his teammates. Not his agent or Steve Kerr. Not Draymond talking crazy to him. Naw playa!!! It was his own insecurities that finally caught up to him and kicked him square in the butt with the steel toe boot. KD worrying about what other folks thought of him has sidelined his career and that’s a damn shame. Stop me when I start lyin’!
