I’ve been sitting in the cut for the past couple of weeks watching the foolishness play out in Minnesota and now I can literally give you my opinion. Well playas…I had a real opinion when it popped off but I thought maybe this is really not happening. In case you’ve been under an NBA rock Jimmy Butler came into camp showing, like my momma used to say, “His bare bottom!” The dun comes in and demands a trade and Thibbs wasn’t, at the time, crazy enough to let him go without trying to sit down with him and talk it out.
He’s trippin’ throwing cats under the bus talking crazy and making it a volatile situation to say the least. Then he essentially cursed out the GM while at practice. The other day he walks into scrimmage, takes the bench players and runs the rest of the starters into the ground. Completely destroys them and talks crazy to them in the process telling them that they can’t win without him.
Now let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! Everything the dun said was true however, these are still his teammates and he’s got to carry himself like a professional. And if you don’t hear anything else I’m about to spit please believe this. The dun hasn’t won jack squat! And that’s the edited version. So therefore, he hasn’t earned the right to go off and berate his teammates like that. Excuse my grammar bruh but he ain’t Kobe!!! Remember when ole boy walked into practice during his last year of so in the league and cursed EVERYBODY out? He was wrong but he was Kobe with 5 rings and at least a boy would take it form a 5-time champion and one of the greatest players to EVER lace them up. He’s Jimmy Butler!!! He doesn’t have a stitch of hardware and is nowhere near being one of the greatest players in the history of the game. He’s not even a top 10 player in the league right NOW!!!
And on some real talk, we should never even found out about what happened at practice the other day. It should have ended with Butler getting fired on. Those are grown men he’s talking to out there. An alpha male in the gym should have fired on him as soon as he started talking crazy.
I’ve been covering the NBA going into my 9th season and I know of boyz getting whooped in practice for less and it never hits the news. Why? Because that’s family time. What happens in the house stays in the house. If somebody would have checked Jimmy Butler we never would have heard about this foolishness. They wouldn’t have had to win the fight as long as they’d swung on him it would have forced the situation to change immediately.
Real cats don’t do a lot of talking bruh especially if you’re literally trying to disrespect them. This is professional basketball not the projects but it can get project real quick. Somebody’s getting hit in the mouth. Will somebody tell Jimmy Butler to win something first before he tries to pull a Kobe. Thank you for your time and attention and stop me when I start lyin’!
