James Harden puts up 38 even with the jick-eye to help Houston beat Golden State! “All Knotted Up”

HOUSTON — Despite having to play with the jick-eye looking like ole Willie the Whino down at the corner liquor store. James Harden still put in work to lead the Rockets past Golden State 112-108 with 38 points to tie the series up 2-2.

They came back to the crib down 0-2 looking like it would be a quick series as Golden State jumped all over them in Games 1 and 2 in Oakland while bumpin’ that old school Too Short “Born to Mack.” However, since they’ve been back in Houston the Rockets attitude has been about being physical with these boyz as they’ve bumped that Geto Boys “Making Trouble” and yes, they’ve made some serious trouble in Games 3 and 4 to knot it all up.

They’ve made the Splash Brothers uncomfortable by getting inside of them and contesting their shots. Harden had this to say about their defensive strategy. “”When you’re dealing with these guys, if you let Klay and Steph run around and shoot 3’s you don’t have no chance. The only chance we have is to be in to their bodies and make every shot that they take contested.”

It’s worked even though Steph still put up 30 on them but he had to work for it. He jumped out of the whip and gave them 11 points in the first quarter looking like he was about to hit them for 50. However, he finished shooting 12 of 25 from the field. Kevin Durant did what he does as he finished with 34 and a problem.

Despite those two going off the Rockets were still able to get out of the joint with a “W” to keep their dignity. Eric Gordon put up a solid 20 as PJ Tucker finished with 17. Chris Paul added a cool 13.

Now the series shifts back to the West Coast with Houston coming in with a serious attitude. It should be good.
