LAWARENCE — Can you say Jake Laravia? That’s all boyz were saying on Friday night as the Lawrence Central senior went to work on North Central leading the Bears past the Panthers 88-53 . Ole boy did everything but paint the stripes on the floor and make the sneakers. Let’s put it like this playa, he had on the full clown suit complete with the water spitting flower straight clownin’ these boyz!!! Ole boy was on fiyyaahh!!!

Through three quarters Laravia had already scored 22 of his total 31 points. They finally sat him down with about 4 minutes to go. I was sad to see him leave the floor because he was literally putting on a clinic.

Lawrence Central sprinted through North Central like they were expected to do. They’ve got a much better squad with crazy weapons all over the floor. They’ve got a stable of horses and they were galloping. That’s what makes this team so dangerous. You’ll never know which one of these cats is going to go off.

Nigel Pack, who in my opinion, is the best point guard in the state, finished in double figures as well as Dre’ Davis. That’s NUTS!!!

Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! This is the most dangerous team in the state and they’ve been that way all season long. They’re solid from top to bottom with boyz that can go. Al Gooden has them ready to make a serious run at winning the Class 4A State Championship.  We’ll have to sit in the cut and watch it all play out. They’ll play for the Sectional 10 championship on Saturday night against the winner of the Warren Central/Lawrence North game.
