IU leaves it’s secret weapon on the table in loss to Michigan State! “Unleash the Monster”

BLOOMINGTON, IN. — The Indiana Hoosiers get off of the bus on Saturday with crazy swag after starting the season 3-0. They’d simply taken care of their business winning the games that they should have won to open the season. Well playas…with No.24 Michigan State rolling into town this would be their first real test. When the smoke cleared and Big Momma vacuumed the living room floor the Spartans escaped with the “W” 35-21 but not without a fight.

Michigan State literally got going faster than IU and by the time a boy could sit down and fart they were up 14-0. Midway through the second quarter the Hoosiers found some rhythm as Peyton Ramsey connected with running back Stevie Scott for a 6 yard touchdown pass to get some skin in the game 14-7.

Just before the half MSU quarterback Brian Lewerke finds tight end Matt Dotson for an 11 yard score to get to the break 21-7.

The Hoosiers didn’t just give up the sneakers and jewelry in the second half however. Outside of a dull Peyton Ramsey pick 6 that went 69 yards the wrong way. Indiana made the Spartans earn it all. Mark Dontonio’s squad  had to use a couple of trick plays to get out of Bloomington alive. With 3:28 left to play the Indiana cut the lead to 28-21 on a Logan Justus 36 yard field goal before MSU’s Jalen Nailor exploded for a 75 yard touchdown run to seal the deal.

I was trying not to blast the Hoosiers coaching staff all season but I knew that it would rear it’s ugly head enough for me to bring it up at some point. Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! During the first three ball games it was driving me crazy but they were winning so it wasn’t a huge problem. However, now that they’ve loss without using all of the tools in the tool box I can start my dissertation.

IU was held to only 29 yards rushing in a ball game that they had an opportunity to win had they been able to run the football. However, you’ve got the most electrifying player to sign with the Hoosiers since Antwaan Randle El on the side lines in 2017 Indiana Mr. Football, Reese Taylor.  The dun had one carry and one catch all night. That’s a problem playa!!!

I’ve been fired up all season long about it but I couldn’t say anything because they were winning. When you’ve got a player with that much talent on your team you’ve got to use all of his super powers. It doesn’t make sense to have him if you’re not going to FULLY use him.

It’s like the Cleveland Browns sitting on Baker Mayfield for two and a half games before finally pulling him out of the driveway. You’ve got nothing to lose!!! Reese Taylor is literally the most exciting playmaker that I’ve ever seen in high school and his DNA is something that you only see every 15 or 20 years at a place like Indiana.

So again, why is he only getting 2 or 3 touches a night? Purdue’s not sitting on Rondale Moore! Ole boy is getting his hands on the rock every chance the Boilermakers get. Why? Because he’s got rare DNA and they know it.

The records may be reversed 3-1 vs. 1-3 but the difference in winning and losing the Old Oaken Bucket in November is who uses their secret weapon the most effectively during the course of the season. If they both keep using them at the same rate the Boilermakers will beat the brakes off of IU because the confidence will be through the roof by the time they meet. Don’t sleep on Purdue bruh! They could easily be 4-0 right now minus some bone head unsportsmanlike conduct penalties in the first three games. At some point Tom Allen and Co. has got to unleash the monster!! Stop me when I start lyin’!
